Ogden's Flooring & Design

We ordered carpet and tile for our home from the Riverton Ogden’s location in November 2021. We have had several hang ups on completing this project and it ended up taking 5 months to complete. -Tile was not the color of tile we ordered. Tile had to be ordered- delaying our project 3 weeks. -We we’re told our tile would be completed within a month. Our tile project took over 5 months to complete. The 3rd party person installing the tile left the country in Feb/Mar leaving an unsafe living environment for our family of 6. 3rd party also stole items out of our garage and used and damaged out tools. We went without two functioning toilets for a month. We ended up hiring someone ourselves to install toilets, finish tiling backsplash and patch missed spots of grout. 3rd party also left leftover supplies, trash and a garbage can. We had to order a dumpster to clean up our yard at an additional cost to us. -Carpet was ordered in November along with our tile. When carpet installers came, they did not have sufficient carpet, leaving us with tacks on stairs for ten days. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

We settled on getting our flooring from Ogden's in Lehi UT based on a recommendation from our neighbor. Their experience was definitely not the same as my experience. While the selection and pricing was good their customer service needs improvement. - They never return phone calls - They didn't notify us like they said they would when the laminate came in which lead to delaying the project by a week The carpet installation is horrible. - Visible seams - Transitions between carpet and laminate are fully exposed leaving the laminate edge and concrete underneath visible - The edges of the laminate was damaged by the installers - Glue spilled and not cleaned up on the laminate - Glue on the walls - Wall paint damaged - Baseboard paint damaged - Deep knife marks in the baseboard

I am disabled and couldn't make into the store to choose our flooring, so Sterling made sure someone could come to our home, Sterling himself took time out of his busy schedule to make sure our needs were met. We worked with Sterling and George to have 70% of our flooring done. I had family coming out from out of town and I was worried that the work wouldn't be completed by the time they arrived but, Sterling made it happen. My husband and I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality and overall look of our new flooring! Thank you Ogden Flooring and design and an even bigger thank you to Sterling Biggs and George for everything you guys did to make our home look beautiful!!!

John from the Riverton store was so helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to bring samples to our house so we could see how the colors would blend and had the installers here within a day to complete the project. Everything was flawless and working with John was a complete pleasure! We are customers for life…

The team from Ogden's Flooring & Design was very knowledgeable about the products they have to offer and were extremely helpful in choosing products that complimented each other. We did a complete kitchen and bath remodel with new cabinets, countertops and flooring. They were there every step of the way checking in on progress and making sure everything was up to standards that we were happy with. Really they were the one stop shop we were looking for.

We upgraded the carpet on our main floor. We choose Ogden's because they were a flooring store. The customer service we received when we first walked in the store was terrific. Their approach was friendly and knowledgeable. We upgraded the padding and carpet and could not be happier. The gentlemen that came to install were right on time and got right to work. They were professional and did a wonderful job. We liked the whole experience so much that we have decided to re-carpet the upstairs as well. We enjoy the feel of the new carpet on our bare feet. I was so impressed with Alyson Cram. She is so knowledgeable & professional. She has a great sense of style. She helped me with more than just flooring. She helped me put together my whole room. She is thoughtful & listened to what i wanted and gave great thought to what my style is and what would be look good. She takes the time and doesn’t rush anything. This place was by far the best place I have ever been to. I just built a new townhome put it did had an unfinished basement. After shopping around and looking at several places, this one had the best selection and quality. I ordered flooring and carpet. I’m in love with both! I wish I could have done my whole house in the carpet! The employees there were so helpful! Especially Eddie!! He knew his stuff and answered all my questions I had. Took the one on one time and made me feel like he valued me as buyer. Great customer service from him! I recommend this place to anyone! Thank you ☺️

Don’t use Roy location. We have a problem when they laid our carpet. Had 3 different people out they told us it was fine and would fix it self. Well still have a gap between pieces and the carpet is now rippling. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I knew back then that it was wrong. They don’t know what they are doing and don’t care about the customer.

I would not recommend dealing with Travis Nielsen at the Sandy, Utah, location. He wanted to come to our home the next day on his way home from work between 4-5 pm, then came finally at 5:30 pm. He then made comments to me in my living room that were very unprofessional and insulting when I told him what I was trying to do to make the home look better. He then instructed me that I will be able to sell my home even with flaws because people need homes. I only allowed him to stay at my home because I didn't want to start the process over after driving to Sandy, meeting with him, and waiting all freaking day for him to arrive. He also was instructing me to remove my cove base and then go rebuy it since he would have to buy 200 feet of it! I do not appreciate this type of treatment of expecting me to be treated rotten verbally and then being told to tear out/purchase cove base. I am going elsewhere for my future flooring and I also have skills to do the installation myself! I do not care if other's like him because I feel he is unprofessional when he chooses to be with people!
