We had never worked with an architect before so the process was fascinating to see our ideas come to life. We approached Meredith Frolio with a vague idea of what we wanted in an ADU for my Mother in Law. She patiently but efficiently helped us tease out our functional needs and aesthetic preferences. The design, once completed impressed me, my MIL, our contractor, and the builders. While our contractor might have offered us an alternative directions at times, we consistently stuck to the original design because it perfectly fit our needs. Meredith is fantastic to work with! We knew immediately, once we started the inspiration phase, that we chose the right architect for the major remodel of our piecemealed ranch house. Her vision and ideas were in align with ours and she really listened to us as well as provided ideas/plans that exceeded our expectations. She continuously worked with us throughout each phase of the project to ensure the contractors were building what was developed in the plans, yet, she remained flexible and adapted to our needs and budget along the way. She was highly receptive to making certain changes due to material/budget constraints and quickly went back to the drawing board to come up with something that met our aesthetics while being more budget-friendly. She always responded in a timely manner and made time to help with additional things like choosing tiles, counter tops, color ideas for cabinetry and accent walls, and anything we weren't sure about with respect to design. We would highly recommend Meredith for any architectural needs that you may have. We couldn't be more pleased with our home that is nearing completion later this fall.

We LOVE working with Meredith! We have done two home projects with her and both times she exhibited the care and artistry we value in a home improvement job. She has a taste and sophistication level that was totally unlike any contractors with whom we worked. She also has the overall experience and outcome in mind ie she takes into account price, availability, design and function. Perhaps that is the quality I appreciated most in our interactions, as she would have a 360 view into the decisions we made and was extremely helpful into guiding an amorphous vision (with us as completely untrained clients) into something our family can use and love every day. She has the language and knowledge to work with all subcontractors and she takes into account aesthetic, indoor and outdoor sustainability as well as an attention to detail we both lacked and needed.
