Mike and David did an incredible job designing and executing on our backyard. We struggled to proceed on our backyard renovation for years until we got vision from Mike and David. True professionals and went above and beyond in every way. I couldn't recommend anyone more.

Mike and Dave are absolutely incredible. We gut renovated a historic home in Lakewood, which included all new landscape from trees, plants, grass, hardscape, irrigation, etc. The quality of work, transparency of activities, optionality, personal commitment and end results were amazing. My wife is an architect and designer, and she has already referred Mike and Dave several times. I could write a novel on how professional and amazing Mike and Dave are. I could never give higher praise than what I think about Mike and Dave.

This is the second home in which we have used Original Landscape Concepts and have been beyond satisfied both times. Mike and Dave are very professional and extremely attentive to details from the original design process and throughout the project. We couldn't be happier with the way they so personally designed the landscaping for our yard, and also their choice of plants. We appreciate how understanding they were of our budget. The entire landscape team and workers did a wonderful job. The design is beautiful and incorporates all of our wants- and definitely more. Our completed backyard is the “backyard oasis” that we've been dreaming of, yet never thought it could be this wonderful. It's entirely green all year round, low maintenance (no leaves in our pool), and we love the privacy from our neighbors. The birds are quite happy with all of the trees too. It was completed about nine months ago and has just looked more beautiful everyday.

What amazing work Mike and Dave do from landscaping idea/visioning to design and implementation! The process was seamless for us and we can now enjoy our 'smoking hot' backyard! Our landscape project was something we envisioned as an enhancement to our home that we were renovating and to the overall beauty of our property. Because of this, we interviewed several landscape architects/companies to ensure we selected a company with whom we felt comfortable working with and also one who exhibited an overall understanding of what we were wanting to achieve. From the first time with met with Dave and Mike they speak with such kindness I knew we would be selecting them for our project. After we selected, Original Landscape Concepts, we shared many inspiration photos, including pictures of the French formal gardens of Versailles, preferred color palettes and various areas to incorporate in our project. We were blown away the first time we saw all of the drawings for our landscaping project it actually brought tears to my eyes. We were so impressed with their ability to take all that we had shared and discussed and turn it into something so unique to us that not only met but far exceeded our expectations. Dave and Mike were excellent with their communication, material options and coordination of various trades throughout the entire process. This was critical to the success of the various areas of the project details throughout our large 18 month job. With each detailed walkthrough, as the work progressed, we continued to see the beauty we had envisioned for our property come to life through all of their efforts. Since the completion of our project we have had visitors to our home that have all been so impressed by the design, plant and flower selection, and stunned at the overall beauty. Likewise, my husband and I love it so much and we appreciate being at home and enjoying it every single day. We often tell each other we just can’t believe this is our yard! If I could add another star to this recommendations, I would! Original Landscape Concepts did an excellent job creating just what we wanted for our backyard space. Mike and Dave and their team were great to work with, they listened to our need for a living space more suitable for outside and they created just that and installed it perfectly. What a transformation! We are able to enjoy our yard now, it’s fun to entertain and bonus it almost seems like we’re at a resort on vacation. So happy with everything!

We used Original Landscape Concepts to address drainage issues and rework the walkway in our front yard, and updated the landscaping as well. It was a great experience. They were attentive to our underlying functional issues, our requests (leaving some open grass for our young children and having an easy maintenance yard), and managed to really tie together a more updated lawn with our traditional ranch house. We love the look of the new yard and the functionality of the new walkways and drainage, and keep receiving compliments from friends and neighbors.
