Shippey Landscape Architecture provides homeowners and businesses in East Tennessee and North Georgia with personalized, locally crafted landscape designs. Much of landscape design has to do with relationships. To design a quality landscape, a relationship must be formed between the owner and the designer. Additionally, there is a relationship between existing structures, on-site conditions, and the specific needs of each client. Philip Shippey is the owner and founder of Shippey Landscape Architecture He gained an interest in landscape design from working in golf courses and gardens growing up in his home state of Georgia. His interest was further piqued during an internship at South China Botanical Garden. He has experience working in landscape architecture offices in Chattanooga and Knoxville.
