We had PCI Builders do some major remodeling on our home during the pandemic. They were fantastic to work with, professional, always on time, and hired great sub-contractors. They never cut corners and cared about every detail and went above and beyond in certain situations. We were able to live in our home throughout the remodel and were gracious enough to help us make that possible. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Hiring PCI Builders for our kitchen remodel was the best decision we could have made! When my husband and I purchased 1923 bungalow, we knew that we wanted to hire someone who understood our desire to renovate with respect for the architectural history and character of an older home; we wanted to preserve some of the quirks while making it more compatible with modern living, but we were overwhelmed by the process. Where do we begin? How do we prioritize our project wish list? How can we make the best use of our (not unlimited) budget? As a first time homeowner, these questions were just the tip of the "how do we make this happen" iceberg. Fortunately, I found Allison Allain, Founder and CEO of PCI Builders! I am so grateful for her creativity, vision, and communication. Within thirty minutes of our initial meeting, she shared ideas for how we could reconfigure our kitchen to maximize its tiny footprint without losing a window (something that three other contractors had insisted was "necessary"). Her communication throughout the process was excellent and her team was a joy to work with; her foreman and employees were friendly, funny, and always on time. I am already looking forward to hiring her for our next project!

We were referred to Allison by a friend who had remodeled her home 3 times. She said Allison was by far the most reliable and conscientious. And she was right! We replaced all of the flooring downstairs, painted, gutted the kitchen and tore down walls to create an open floor plan. Allison’s work is beautiful. She was not satisfied unless everything was perfect. She was also extremely helpful with the design aspect and suggested beautiful options we would have never considered. She has an amazing eye for aesthetics. We love our new kitchen and upgrades to our entire downstairs. Entertaining is a pleasure now and we have received so many compliments!!!! Allison and her team were a complete pleasure to work with. Their honesty and integrity was refreshing and we trusted them completely. Allison was always available to talk, accessible by text message, and was very responsive at all times. She always did exactly what she said she would do. We recommend her to everyone we speak to and plan to continue to use her in the future as more projects arise.

It took us 20 years and a lot of planning before we decided to have our kitchen/living room/dining and bedroom remodeled. We interviewed 8 different contractors but none of them seemed to see our vision or didn't have the design background we needed. We saw PCI Builders on a home improvement show and liked what we saw, so we contacted them. After our first meeting with Allison and her team we felt that she saw and understood what we were trying to do. She also had the design sense and patience we needed. Allison helped us craft our vision with various samples and ideas while working in our suggestions. Allison and her team kept us in constant communication on scheduling, progress, and any issues with our city approvals. Her team is polite, punctual, clean, and truly care about the work they are doing. We got a beautiful and unique kitchen with an open floor plan to our living and dining areas.

My husband and I found PCI Builders through Houzz and we are so delighted that we did. We own a 1910 Craftsman home which required a much needed remodel of our outdated kitchen and guest bathroom. Our goal was to keep within the Arts and Crafts look and feel while also providing much needed organization, storage and upgraded fixtures and appliances. We also had them upgrade our hallway's closet, doors and woodwork. The project required major plumbing, gas line and electrical upgrades, all done extremely well. Allison and her entire team including the office staff were professional and great to work with. Each worker on her team knew their craft, were always on time and left our home clean at the end of each day. Any unexpected issues that arose (as can often occur in any remodel) were resolved and followed up on to our complete satisfaction. We are thrilled with the results, we recommend them with confidence, and would certainly use them again!

This isn't our first time using PCI Builders. We used them in our previous home on a bathroom remodel. This time, we used them for three bathroom remodels, a laundry room, and much more. I'm really glad we used them both times. I trust their work and I trust them in my home. They were so considerate. Seriously, they even gave me a full day's notice if they thought I'd have to relocate our hamster to another room so she wouldn't be startled by the noise. They were also great with our toddler and his tons of questions. Beyond that, their work is outstanding. I feel like I'm at a fancy resort spa every time I go into our bathrooms. They really made sure everything was done well and done right. We also liked that they got permits and inspections for all of their work. Some builders don't do that. By getting the permits/inspections, it was their way of reassuring us that everything was up to code. If a builder doesn't pull permits, be suspicious. PCI did such a beautiful job with our bathrooms and laundry room that we're having them back in the winter to turn one of our bedrooms into an office, replace sliding glass doors and patio tiles, and (eventually) remodel our kitchen. Oh, and I forgot to mention... all of their workers and subcontractors were extremely smart and respectful. If ever I had a question about something, they'd take the time to show me how or why it was done. I never felt talked down to. I also felt comfortable with them in my home. This was an all around great experience and we even came in near budget! :)

I hired Plumb Crazy after interviewing and getting bids from 3 other contractors, none of whom paid any attention to what I wanted in a bathroom remodel resulting from a major roof leak.. Allison listened to what i wanted and immediately understood what I was looking for (a 1920's look in my 1928 Spanish house). She suggested a simple but elegant design that was better than anything I was able to come up with. She had many excellent suggestions and emailed me pictures with choices of fixtures, flooring, etc. Her crew was polite and showed on time (10 minutes early!) She was on the job and inspected her subs work, and when it was a little off, she made sure it was fixed. I am continuing to use the firm for other projects.

Allison Allain and her team are fantastic to work with. Allison is hands-on, regularly present on the job site and a guiding force in all of the projects we tackled at our new house.... including a new master bath and dressing area, new dining/den/kitchen area, new deck, renovated garage, new flooring, new windows, updated electrical, and more! She was able to provide product information and suggestions that were in keeping with our vision and budget. My best recommendation is that we are still working together!

We worked with Allison Allain of Plumb Crazy on a remodel of our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. This was our 3rd experience with remodeling. This was by far the best experience. Allison was accessible to handle questions or problems, her crew showed up when they said they would and did great, quality work. She also recommended a great landscaper and helped us by interacting with him on our behalf. She was always patient and flexible, and did her best to insure a great result and our satisfaction. She's the only one we would work with if we remodel again. Everyone who sees the work thinks it's top notch. We have referred her to several friends.

Allison and her whole team did a great job with our remodel. I give them the highest rating for their work. The did a great job of communicating and provided superior results, our remodel exceeded our expectations. They were pretty much on target with costs they had estimated and on target with the projected time the project would take.

How many people can say they are still friends with their contractor even after the job is done? Well, I am! Allison and her team are the best! They remodeled my house from top to bottom and did an amazing job. They keep a clean work site, they show up on time every day, and they are respectful of the budget. Allison is full of creative solutions for the inevitable challenges that arise when working on an older house, and she really made my vision come to life. Can't recommend her highly enough!

Allison and her team were patient with me throughout the entire process as we ran into several delays with the HOA and the city to get the renovation moving forward. Even when I wasn't too happy with a certain subcontractor, she addressed the situation immediately and professionally. Her team is awesome too!
