We cannot rave enough about the quality of work accomplished by Popularis on our kitchen and bath renovation. We even started off with additions to the project - to paint the entire inside of the house and redo all of the wood floors to match the new ones put in the kitchen. They took this in stride and executed a great plan. The big surprise of rotted wood on 3 exterior walls, uncovered by the demolition, was handled with ease and confidence. The crew was polite, professional and friendly and we felt like they became almost a part of our family over the 4 months of the project. Yes, it was strange to have workers in our house almost every day, but they worked around us and gave us lots of help and suggestions on how to survive during the messiest and loudest times. Communication was constant and thoughtful. They finished within a few days of our target date and kept coming even during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are delighted with our new house!

We recently completed a large bathroom (14’ x 14’) remodeling project with Popularis. We’ve been putting off this project for 15 years somewhat intimidated by the contractor selection process on a large project. Popularis and our designer Mandy Key Interior Design helped gut a dated bathroom to the studs and transform the space into a luxury oasis with new hydro-heated floor, expanded shower, & signature soaking tub. Careful and thoughtful planning (3 months) helped ensure a relatively smooth construction phase — although this was right in the middle of the worse time period of the pandemic so certain construction elements were delayed as factories shut down and reconfigured for operating in the new environment. We are very pleased with the craftsmanship (Tony’s woodworking is impeccable, Cal’s tiling very good as well). Popularis also has a good ecosystem of subcontractors (plumbing, electrical, glass, designer, etc.) all scheduled out timing wise and equally nice and reliable.

Popularis construction is a top notch company! They are masters of their craft, respectful in your home and always very professional. They are excellent workers and very clean! I highly recommend them for any project.

Brady Bankston and his team at Popularis Construction were superb. What impressed me most was Brady’s attention to detail and desire to please his customer. We had never done any major work on our home and I was suspicious of contractors in general based on what I had always heard from others about unscrupulous business practices and lack of reliability. However, Brady immediately dispelled my fears. Our project changed several times and Brady was unfailingly gracious and open to my modifications. He gave opinions when asked, and was always open to feedback. His craftsmanship was beautiful and he demonstrated this in every room of my home. He replaced floors, installed tile and built beautiful wooden shelves for a linen closet. He renovated 3 bathrooms and transformed a fiberglass shower stall into a gorgeous tile shower. It was essentially a complete home renovation project where Brady served as both a hands-on worker as well as general contractor. He coordinated the hiring of subcontractors to do painting as well as plumbing and electrical work. The project went more smoothly than I ever expected and I now have a beautiful new home to show for it. Because of Brady’s attention to detail, incredible follow-up and respect for my home and family, it gives me great pleasure to recommend Popularis Construction for any home improvement projects.

Brady and his team came in and did several custom pieces of work for us: Building a railing around the top of an open staircase replacing rotting floor boards in 2nd floor of carriage house fitting old drainage basins in carriage house stable with level flooring builiding a bar to fit between old iron posts and affixing it to the posts themselves The team did exactly as they promised and Brady's attention to detail and judgement on what would look best were excellent. In a few cases Brady counseled us to change course because something we had asked for was not coming out as expected. This saved us money and we ended up with a better looking project in the end. Brady was creative and did a lot of the little extra things without being asked like burning the bar supports so they would look black and match the rest of the old room and rounding off the corners of the bar so that there was nothing for people to poke into. I would not have thought to ask for either of these things but Brady saw ahead and offered up these ideas. His team were friendly and professional and they did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves because when i would come home after they were done i would notice the work but never see any mess. That created a nice experience. Can't wait to have Popularis back for the next project.

Brady and his team renovated the woodwork on the outside of my condo building and built a lovely covering over the front door. Everything was done with great craftsmanship and care. He also rebuilt my deck. Brady is a great problem solver and I would highly recommend him.
