Phillip Price Construction

We worked with Phillip and Nick in early 2021 to make a number of upgrades to our house: replace our kitchen (including opening a wall to achieve an open floor plan), upgrade our electrical panel, switch to a tankless water heater, add canned lights, install crown moulding, move to central air from wall heaters, add a gas fireplace, insulate and replace all external doors. The work was excellent. We were pleased with the final results and the work has held up as I write this review 2 years later. They helped us find an engineer to draw up the plans, a specialist to manage the asbestos abatement, handled the permits with the city, and suggested stores to shop for new appliances, doors, etc. Phillip is the contractor and Nick is the main point of contact for the client. That combination greatly helped with communication. Phillip could manage the work and Nick helped us get our questions answered. We also set up shared Google Docs that helped communicate our choices and keep everyone abreast of order numbers and arrivals. We could count on them to be here when they said they would be here, do what they said they would do, and deliver quality work. Further, they were willing to take on renovations for a smaller house project. We were ignored by other contractors that prefer to tear down homes and build new rather than renovate. I’d highly recommend them.

Working with Phil and Nick was a pleasure. They were diligent and very professional. The job was completed on time and on budget. Their subcontractors were also very good. Vince Fazio, of Creative Cabinets & Design, is someone we have used for multiple projects over the years. He again did an amazing job creating a custom cabinet design, building and installing the cabinets. The stone fabricators were very helpful in laying out the slabs in the most efficient manner. We learned how much of an art there is to this process and they did a great job with the install. The plumber was great as were the painters. The electricians were very nice and didn't mind all the extras we requested. Overall, we were very happy working with Phillip and Nick, and would highly recommend them to others.

I had the pleasure of working with this father-son team, when they handled an extensive remodel for me. Remodels are tough, especially when someone is living in the home. I was very impressed with how they did modifications, during the work progress, to make sure the disturbance to the family, was as minimal as possible. There were very few delays. If there was going to be a delay, I was always notified immediately and given a sufficient explanation as to why and it was never more than a day or two delay. Which anyone who knows construction, knows that is nothing, in this business. The best part of this contracting team, is that they are efficient, patient and honest. I will 100% use them for my next project, without giving it a second thought. Highly recommend them.

Phillip's team was working on a neighbor's house and I popped over to ask if they could help with a small job at our home - we needed to have a door reframed and installed. I thought this might be too small of a job for them, but they were gracious, responsive, and easy to work with. The replaced door is fantastic.

They were professional, on time, worked with us on special requests and the entire crew was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend them.

KITCHEN, BATHROOM, BAR, FAMILY ROOM, ENTRYWAY REMODEL We hired Phillip Price Construction to do our entire downstairs remodel which involved the kitchen, entryway, stairway, bathroom, bar, laundry room, and fireplace remodel and all the downstairs flooring re-done in tile. I highly recommend Phillip Price Construction for any project you are planning. He started our extensive project the first week of October and we had a requirement that all work be done by Thanksgiving. He was amazing at running the schedule and the sub-contractors such that all work was done in just 6 weeks – one week ahead of Thanksgiving! Not only that, but all the work was precise in measurement and installation – the workers did an excellent job. The result was absolutely beautiful! The painter was wonderful, as well, and even assisted with some design questions and design elements. The team Phil put together was amazing and with their assistance, I didn’t need an interior decorator to assist. Phil provided us with an initial quote after the walk-through of our home and discussion of the project design. The quote was detailed and included all aspects of the project so that we understood exactly what the cost would be – no guessing or gray areas! We made some changes along the way and Phil made it easy to do those. The price was fair and we were never gouged for making changes. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Phil and his son, Nick, were wonderful to work with. They are very responsive and they made it fun to do the remodel. I had absolute confidence when working with them. And one of the best parts was how they cleaned up afterwards . . . my place was immaculate and cleaned by professionals so that I had no cleaning to do at all. We were able to just enjoy the amazing results! Everyone who has seen the remodel is impressed and amazed. I have even had other workers here for carpet cleaning, etc., and some of them have taken pictures of the kitchen and bathroom to show their wives! They have all asked who did the work and I was happy to tell them about Phillip Price Construction. We will be hiring Phillip Price Construction for our next project which is both the upstairs bathrooms. If I have any further work, I will not hesitate to engage Phil Price again. I have recommended him to my neighbors and friends, many of whom are ready to do their own remodels. You will be pleased with the results when working with Phillip Price Construction.

We worked with Phil Price Construction when we built a small secondary dwelling on our property for our disabled adult son. Phil, as well as his son Nick, are pleasant, personable and very approachable as well as clearly knowledgeable and hardworking professionals. They were invested in our project from beginning to end, making it as painless as possible. Phil was quickly responsive to any questions or concerns we had throughout the process of acquiring permits and inspections, managing all construction elements, as well as moving in to our beautiful new home. They had many resources and contacts for subcontractors that were both skilled and reliable. We always felt comfortable and safe with anyone they brought to our property. We would recommend Phil and Nick to anyone wanting to do a construction project, either large or small. They will give you the personal care that you want and the attention to detail that will ensure you love the completed project.

Phil and Nick were easy to work with, they were able to take my pinterest ideas and make them into reality with our project. Our project was a 77sqft bump out into the side yard, demo the water damaged areas and completely rebuild and update a bathroom, laundry space, and add access to our garage. The project took about 3/4 months, we continued to live in the home during the renovation. Phil and Nick made sure the areas being worked on where sealed nicely to keep our family safe at all times.

I have worked with Price Construction several times. This was a well-worn mid-century contemporary that we gave a complete makeover. As always Phil's team did a great job.

I have worked with Phil for over 20 years and he has always been a no nonsense guy. When I show up everything is ready to go and we are able to do our job without any delays. He has impeccable taste and really looks out for the client so we are a lot alike. I have never seen him try to cut corners or do things second rate. Great Client!!

Phil, Nick, and their subcontractors did an amazing job remodeling our home. On time, on budget, professional, friendly, insightful and responded to questions through text and email quickly and thoroughly. They really made the process a lot easier than we had imagined. Both Nick and Phil gave us a great perspective, and tempered our expectations with the subcontractors and finishes to help keep us on budget and translated our vision to the specialists with flawless execution. Nick and Phil would respond to all of our questions and concerns promptly, did an amazing job making us feel confident in our project and was incredibly efficient. They were knowledgeable, had great suggestions, and blew me away numerous times on how well he knew every tiny detail about any aspect of our project even though we were rebuilding a large portion of our house. We thought that their timeline was too good to be true, but Phil got the job done in under 6 months when others quoted us as taking 9-12 months. Phillip Price Construction’s ability to coordinate and get amazingly skilled subs quickly was very impressive. We wouldn’t have anyone else remodel a home for us again in the future.
