Konstructo, Inc.

Working with Gita and Priyam on our whole-home remodel was an outstanding experience from start to finish. They are incredibly professional, easy to work with, and truly collaborative - every conversation felt open and like we were on the same team working toward the same goal. Gita's design eye is exceptional. She has an incredible attention to detail and consistently brought us strong recommendations, then helped narrow them down to a manageable shortlist — which made our decision-making so much easier instead of feeling overwhelming. Priyam's crew works very cleanly and professionally on-site, which we really appreciated throughout the project. It's also clear that Gita and Priyam have a great network of vendors they trust and who work seamlessly together - that coordination kept things moving efficiently and on schedule. It's also clear that Gita and Priyam have a great working relationship with each other and they are a JOY to work with! This was our first time undergoing a remodel and our project actually grew along the way- we started out planning just a kitchen and bathroom remodel, and it expanded into a renovation of most of the house. Through all the pivots and scope changes, they were incredibly accommodating, always laying out the pros and cons so we could make informed decisions. It was clear they genuinely wanted what was best for us, not just what was easiest for them. All well worth it!! Despite the expanded scope, the project still finished right on time - a real testament to how well they managed everything. We couldn't be happier with the result and would recommend Gita and Priyam without hesitation to anyone considering a remodel, big or small.

Where do I start, working with Priyam and her amazing team was easy. We remodeled our primary and guest bathrooms. We did it in 2 phases (so we didn’t have to move out of our home), Priyham was happy to work with us. I can’t say enough about how wonderful her in-house team was. Very professional, on-time and cleaned up at the end of each day. Constant contact with either Priyam or her right hand foreman Miguel. I would highly recommend Konstructo and I would use them again and again and again.

Konstructo, lead by Priyam Sawhney, delivered exactly what they promised - a project on time, on budget, and excellent work! No construction project is without challenges, but Priyam worked with us to understand any issue, gave us options and guided us to the best result while taking into consideration our constraints and vision. My primary focus was on quality work, a trustworthy and qualified crew, attention to detail, realistic budget/cost, problem solvers, creative artisans - Priyam delivered all of them! I have used them for two projects and they will be the first call for future projects.

We just finished a large home remodel with Priyam, and we are very pleased with how everything turned out. The project was pretty extensive—covering two bedrooms (including the primary bedroom and bath), two offices, the garage, and the entry—and the finished space is exactly what we had hoped for. Working with Priyam was a genuinely positive experience. She is an excellent communicator and kept us fully in the loop on the schedule and milestones throughout the entire process, which took a lot of the stress out of the renovation. Projects of this scale always have a few challenges, but Priyam was great at working through them with us. It was clear from start to finish that she was truly committed to the quality of the work and making sure we were happy with every detail. We really appreciated her partnership in getting this done. I’d highly recommend Priyam if you’re looking for someone professional, reliable, and easy to work with.

We hired Konstructo do our home, mostly kitchen and living room, remodel. The project included every square foot of our house. They were extremely accommodating of our family situation and worked with us to perform the work while we stayed in our home. The Konstructo team is incredibly nice and helpful. The same 2-3 people were assigned to our project so we always felt comfortable with the workers in our home. And Priyam was always present as the project coordinator and communicated with us throughout every step. Even after the work was completed Priyam and her team was always available to answers questions and provide help when appropriate. We are very happy with Konstructo and the remodel they did! -Jason

I can’t say enough great things about Konstructo, Inc. From start to finish, their team exceeded every expectation while remodeling our three bathrooms. They were consistently on time, stayed on budget, and maintained a level of professionalism that’s hard to find. Priyam and her crew do truly exceptional work. Not only is the craftsmanship outstanding, but they’re also incredibly thoughtful problem solvers. Whenever a challenge came up, as it inevitably does with remodels, they handled it quickly and without stress. They accurately timed and scheduled all our city permit inspections, and the approval process went super smooth. What really stood out was their attention to detail. The intricate bathroom tile and flooring was executed with care and precision. They take immense pride in their work, and it shows in the final result. If you’re looking for a reliable, talented, and highly professional construction team, this fantastic (women-owned business!) is an easy choice. We’re absolutely thrilled with our beautiful bathrooms and would work with Konstructo again in a heartbeat.

I've been lucky to have found Konstructo Inc. Priyam and her team have completed several projects for me over the last five years. First remodeling my 3 bathrooms, then my kitchen remodel and recently a complete remodel of my daughter's condo. Working with Priyam is a pleasure. I have complete trust in her judgment and guidance. Her workers are timely, respectful, neat and their craftsmanship is of the highest quality. I know that working with Priyam means that the project will be done 100% to my satisfaction. It will be on time and within budget. I highly recommend Priyam and Konstructo Inc to anyone looking for a remodel.

Priyam and the Konstructo team were excellent, and did a fabulous job with our kitchen remodel. We live in a 100+ year old house, and of course there were unexpected problems. Priyam was not only calm and professional, but stayed in constant communication with us until everything was resolved to our great delight. Her employees and subcontractors were excellent, as well. Highly recommended.

Priyam and her team were great to work with in two bathroom remodels we did last year. I've worked with many contractors and Priyam is one of the best. She understands the importance of communication and project timelines, as well as, being patient and calm during stressful situations. Her team is easy to work with and provide quality work. I highly recommend Konstructo for any remodel project.

I had the BEST experience with Gita and Priyam (In the Deets and Konstructo) for our full kitchen remodel (plus bar, floors, fireplace, front door, and other upgrades). Working with Gita on design and planning was a dream -- impeccable taste and great vision, no judgment on my analysis paralysis or decision fatigue, honest opinions when I was moving in an impractical direction, and just a perfect blend of friendly and professional to help make sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Priyam gave me the same comfort and confidence when it came to the construction side of things -- transparency beyond my expectations when it came to scope, timing, and price with no surprise extra charges or delays, consistent and clear communication throughout, flexibility on phasing as we decided to live through the construction (which I now made things harder on them), and the same friendly but professional vibe as Gita. I truly felt like we were a team throughout the process. I can't say enough about them as partners and people, but beyond all that their final work speaks for itself -- the final result of our remodel, like all the others I've seen in their portfolio, was more than I could have ever hoped for. It's beautiful, functional, and makes me oh so happy every day.

Priyam and her team are the best of the best, and we'd happily recommend them to anyone and everyone. We have done 4 renovation projects over the last 2 years, and I wish we would have found Priyam sooner. Our project with Konstructo was a complete gut and remodel of our kitchen. The final results are stunning, and overall the project was on-time and on-budget, where everything was communicated openly and in a timely manner. She's diligent, has an excellent memory, documents everything, and beautifually orchestrated multiple specialists to come in in such a way where we lost little to no time between checkpoints. Beyond this, the team doing the physical work itself were charming and respectful of our space. They weren't shy about asking questions when needed, and proactively explained next steps. Our kitchen is a little more than 400 square feet, and had been as it was for around 20 years. We removed a wall, shifted the appliances around, and installed all new cabinets. We also hired her team to upgrade the electrical from knob and tube to modern technology, and changed out the flooring and hand rail for the stairs. Throughout the entirety of the original planning, change order process, or ad hoc decision making, it was very easy to collaborate with her and make the best decision for everyone. A+, 10/10, 5 stars - Priyam and the Konstructo team are the pinnacle of their industry.

Konstructo did a 1,300 sq ft remodel of our 1910 uninhabited basement and kitchen during COVID over 11 months. We added 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, other rooms and remodeled a kitchen and bathroom. It was a fantastic experience working with Priyam and her team. I’ve worked with 4 contractors during the past 10 years and Konstructo was so much better than them. We started our remodel with a sub-par contractor for 1.5 years who did everything wrong. We had to fire him and ended up negotiating a settlement with the state board. Priyam was willing to take over when several contractors we interviewed were unwilling. We got 3 quotes – all of which were about the same but I completely preferred the vibe I got from Priyam. It was actually reassuring to have the work done during COVID since I was working from home and could clearly hear that work was being done. I knew how many people were there and that they were working. Sometimes when I checked on the work at lunch or the end of the day I couldn’t see a single change without significant scrutiny. I took notes every day on who was there and what they did. It really helped me and I suggest that for everyone who’s up for it. The team (and I) discovered that I was very particular about what I wanted so they would check in with me sometimes several times a day (which I totally appreciated!) I also really appreciated how much Priyam was willing to talk to me about my thoughts about what was happening. I did a ton of research and Priyam didn’t mind when I wanted to discuss what I’d read online if it was different than the building methods I was seeing unfold. It felt like a partnership. It was so refreshing and contrary to what I’d experienced with other contractors. They rarely said no to one of my ideas – just “hmm… let’s figure out how we can do this…” Sometimes it did result in a no but it made sense when they explained. In summary, I think the best things about working with Priyam was the open, honest dialogue, the awesome, high-quality end product (I love my house so much now!) and that her workers really care about the work they’re doing. I watched one of her foremen make a few guys redo siding they had been working on all day because they had installed it at a slight slant. It’s so clear they enjoy what they’re doing and thrive in delivering excellent results. They were also so considerate of us in our home (again and again – for example, one of Priyam’s guys picked up the lunch trash that a subcontractor left.) My favorite part of the project was all the little custom add-ons we requested at the end. I suggest everyone try to budget for that because it cost us about 10% extra but made all the difference in a super fun house. Finally, it was so nice that once Priyam started, we had a team on the project every day until we finished except for only a few days (across 11 months!) that Priyam always discussed with us beforehand. Our prior contractor sometimes disappeared with no returned calls for weeks.
