ProBuilt Homes Inc has not built me a home, as of yet, but I spoke with an Crystal an associate of ProBuilt today. If she is a reflection of the principles and the trades people that comprise this builder, then I believe that I'd be in good hands. Crystal not only took the time to answer all question in a thorough manner checked on some in question for me, in a most patient, kind and professional manner. She makes an excellent calling card for her company as she exudes professionalism by her exemplary customer service and PR skill set. ProBuilt is most fortuitous in having her as is any customers or folks who communicate with her.

DO NOT BUILD WITH PROBUILT!!! Easily the worst and most expensive experience my wife and I have paid for, unfortunately costing us years of savings $$. If we pointed something out, we were pinned against the subcontractor and ProBuilt took zero responsibility as the project manager and home builder. Our sales rep Lindsay was responsive and professional, but from the moment ProBuilt had our money the entire project fell apart. They're an extremely dishonest and shady company. We built in Melrose Farms and broke ground August of 2020 and moved in April of 2021...so our spec home project took over 8 months to complete. We asked for a move in date regularly for the final two months of the project and were never given an answer UNTIL ONE WEEK BEFORE MOVE IN! Our project manager pushed most issues to punch list, punch list tried pushing everything to warranty, and here we are in August of 2022 with punch list items still not finished. 11 month walk/warranty items also are still unfinished. To summarize our project: Our project manager was an absolute wreck for the entirety of our project and rarely communicated with us. He even no call, no showed on us for two finish meetings in a row, costing my wife and I money on a babysitter and time off of work. We never received as mush as an apology, except for "there must have been a scheduling miscommunication". Numerous finishes and upgrades, which you pay for cash upfront, were ordered wrong and we were made to feel as though it was our fault for making the change during our selections meetings. We made multiple attempts to get Bob and/or George involved, neither of which helped - George never even responded to us. Our front step was poured nearly 1ft. off center of our front door, but the project manager told us it was "the angle of our photo". Our roof was damaged all over the place before the siding was even finished. Our cabinets were completely destroyed - every cabinet had mis-drilled holes and screws or was damaged during install. The siding job was a joke. The drywallers (maybe their worst subcontractor) textured the coffered ceiling beams (upgrade $$$)...beams are NEVER textured, but project manager told us "we always texture the beams". Our walls and floors are extremely bowed throughout the home. Our dishwasher was just slid into place, never anchored and we were told that my wife and I "never ordered the mounting bracket" when selecting appliances...every new dishwasher comes with a mounting bracket (they threw it out along with our double oven mounting hardware). Our hood ($500 upgrade) was never connected to the vent, and the hood cover was still installed in an attempt to cover this up hoping we wouldn't notice (until our home filled with smoke after move in). Our front porch slab is already cracked down the middle. Our foyer entrance floor is bowed to the extreme. Every second floor vanity was leaking water into our new cabinets and down through the ceiling to the first floor. The LVT was...

Probuilt built us the home of our dreams. From start to finish they were upfront, honest, easy to deal with, and most of all nice to be around. When you spend most of our waking hours for months with a group of people this is important. The Probuilt team are experts in their field and the 'trades" and the companies they use for finishing selections are top notch--no "up selling" ! The process they have resulted in a home that was just what we wanted -- and in some cases that was because they knew what we needed -- and I am glad we listened. We live on Lake Erie and even during the coldest or wildest storm our home is tight and toasty... but most of all beautiful!

Exceeded our expectations. This was a second home build, and much of it was handled from out of town. Our initial meeting with George Davis convinced us from the start that we had made a great choice. George's attention to detail and knowledge of quality construction helped us fine tune our plans and give us a realistic idea of cost, which was very important to us. George had us make all our selections before they began to dig...which I initially balked at, but as time when on I saw the benefit of that kind of planning. Once construction started, there were very few delays. Construction Manager Josh was exceptional. His communication was timely and professional. Building can be stressful, but Josh's calm demeanor and attention to detail made the process remarkably smooth. Quality of workmanship was OUTSTANDING. When our project was done, were we introduced to Joe and the Warranty Department who again were exceptional. ProBuilt sets the bar high for other companies to emulate. Great craftsmanship, great customer service, great building company.

We started our building process many years ago through self design of a custom home. We were fortunate enough to be directed to ProBuilt Homes about 2 years ago. In a sense this review is not about ProBuilt Homes but rather the individuals that are ProBuilt Homes. When you look at it this is the key component of what we look for in any company we do business with and we were fortunate enough to find ProBuilt and be assigned Josh as our construction manager. As previously stated, after having been through this process numerous times, if you are in the NE Ohio area or anywhere for that fact, contact ProBuilt in Mentor Ohio. They have an excellent planning book for those considering a building project and a well coordinated, thorough and professional staff. They stay tuned-in and focused on your project and address what few if any questions you may have immediately and directly. But again, this review is for the people like Josh that pull it all together for you every day.

We used ProBuilt to build our home and they are an excellent company to work with. There are so many choices and decisions and they walk you through and explain each one. George gives you a book that explains every step and what needs to be done to move onto the next step. Everything is so well organized, from making selections to documents that need signed. Once the build started Josh took over and was excellent! He was there for every question no matter how stupid and made sure he got you an answer quickly if he didn't know. We established a time frame for updates and he made sure he followed it. There were very few errors and when it did happen it was fixed immediately. We were lucky and had the house done a month and a half early!

We had Probuilt Homes build our dream home in Geauga County Ohio. George Davis' work ethic was exceptional. His staff and contractors were professional, organized, skilled, reachable and always willing to adjust to any changes we had during the build.The building process was quick and easy. The materials and quality craftmanship of a ProBuilt home will be the envy of your friends and neighbors. I would most definitely build again with ProBuilt Homes without a second thought!

Over the past year we had the enjoyable task of building a ranch home in Concord, Ohio with ProBuilt Homes. We were able to create our dream home with George Davis and his very professional staff. George assisted us with choosing an appropriate lot. He met with us on a regular basis and guided us in our selections and informed us of available options. We were kept up to date on all details. We were given expert advice all along the building process and we were able to customize the plan to suit our lifestyle. Our experience was stress free and we really couldn't have asked for anything more. We believe that ProBuilt did the best possible job for us.

We hired ProBuilt Homes to build our new home in Willoughby, Ohio and we're not only ecstatic with the finished result, we couldn't have been more pleased with the entire building process.The ProBuilt staff was always responsive and courteous, happy to answer our questions and address any concerns. On the rare occasion that there was miscommunication or something wouldn't work the way we originally planned, ProBuilt was eager to problem solve and correct the issue at no additional cost to us. Likewise, the contractors ProBuilt used were willing to answer questions and provide information regarding their products. Now that we're actually living in our home, we're certain that we made the right decision going with ProBuilt.
