Neighbours told us about Prospect Builders four years ago, as we were preparing for major renovations in our house: Redoing the kitchen and bathroom as well as many other smaller yet important changes. THE PROJECT Soon after, we met with their team composed of Jeff Palmer, Lois Palmer and Dan Vandenbroek. Once we had agreed on the specs together and after benefiting from their drafting and design services, Prospect Builders produced a detailed proposal of services. The project started a few weeks after, when they had said it would. Their team of workers is composed of experienced, likeable, trustworthy and competent tradespeople, many who have worked together for years. Our renovations became their top priority project and progressed swiftly. It was obvious they were very thorough in their work as they advanced through the various stages. Jeff, consulted with us on a regular basis, visited the site often to keep things on track and coordinate between the different trades, making sure the required material was delivered on time. The worksite was as tidy at the end of each work day. We were ready to move back into our house about a week after the estimated date and that was a pleasant surprise to us - well intentioned family members had warned us this kind of work always takes much longer than planned. In conclusion, the project was completed pretty much on time and on budget. Soon after, every single detail had been looked after, they finished everything 100%. Prospect Builders exceeded our expectations. A problem occurred a couple of weeks later and Jeff's team was at our house the next day. They fixed it well and completely and cleaned everything up. This is great after sales service. TODAY We love our new house and have since hired Prospect Builders for other projects to upgrade our garage and entrance to the house. We are about to hire them once more, this time to renovate our basement. We have recommended them to our friends, family and neighbours.

We hired this company to renovate our basement with an added bedroom and bathroom and could not be happier with end results! Although we had provided our own design and ideas for the space, prospect made recommendations that really complimented our overall vision of the space. We received quotes from three different sources and what really set prospect builders apart was their willingness to consult us and provide us with an idea of costing with no strings attached. This company is very responsive, polite, and cleaned up everyday when they left our home. The owner, Jeff Palmer would make regular walk throughs and on two different occasions, contacted me to make slight adjustments to the project as he believe we would be happier with the results. Our project was completed within 6 - 8 weeks as promised and every week, Jeff contacted us to review the progress made in that week and what the team had planned for the following week. I would recommend this company to anyone and will be hiring prospect builders for our next renovation in the near future!

Prospect Builders built our dream home! No detail went missed and still 3 years later not a day goes by that I don’t feel grateful for all their hard work and passion. They were very consultative and guided us through every key decision. They are very honest and trustworthy so much so that we were out of the country for much of the construction and we didn’t worry about a thing! We bought our beautifully custom designed home from Prospect Builders in 2016. Jeff Palmer the owner of Prospect is very professional and always available and prompt to answer any questions we had during and after our purchase. The architecture, design and the quality of our home is outstanding. The materials used are of upgraded quality from windows to light fixtures, paint etc. Jeff Palmer/Prospect Builders and staff will always go out of their way to make sure you are pleased and they are some the nicest people I have ever met!! Having never bought a custom built home I would highly recommend Prospect Builders to build your dream home!

Careful hiring this builder. Many problems on a custom home from installing a window crooked, design issues, loose floor tiles, leaking eavestrough, unmatched paint, substandard ceiling insulation, breach of contract items, charging for items they damaged and had to replace, electrical switches and light in the wrong location although they had an electrical plan, Windows let uncaulked, doors installed with incorrect swing, exterior vents and stone/siding intersections not caulked, dumped asphalt on the property as fill..Many many more issues !! Beware!!!! I would certainly speak with anyone who needs more info and see the thousands of photos of the build
