Cuisine Ideale

Very poor quality when it comes to stained wood cabinets. Blotchy and uneven stain, rather rough finish. And if you don't specifically ask for nice details, they won't recommend any.

I would not recommend these cabinets at all. In 2018 I had their Bromont MDF, standard painted cupboard doors, as well as the Combination 5 piece Drawers. Within a year melamine paint began to chip off, and paint color began to wear off. As well, the bottom of some of the drawer fronts are very easily damaged if touched by a pot or a pan when putting things away. The company that installed the cupboards contacted this company and showed them pictures of the damage that has occurred. This company claimed that it was normal wear and tear. Interestingly enough the other cupboards that I had for 14 years had none of he damage that I see on these new ones. I would stay away if I were you.

We purchased our cabinets less than one year ago and they are already starting to chip at some of the high-use areas. We were basically told that "this is furniture-grade finish" and we needed to be more careful. Maybe that is fair, but as a consumer, I want a durable product for my kitchen. If you cook and are concerned with durability, these cabinets may not meet your expectations. The customer service has also been less than satisfactory with long delays for shipping touch-up paints.

I would like to personally thank Cuisine Ideale for being a leading standard in Cabinetry. They have been amazing help in the various kitchens i have offered my clients over the past 10 years working with them. I highly recommend there craftsmanship and the quality that goes into each order and i look forward to working with them in the future.
