Brock & his crew are great. We walked the property and he advised us on what trees were no longer healthy. Brock also offered some advise on bringing some struggling boxwood's back to health and they are looking better than ever so far this spring. The crew removed several unhealthy trees along the woods-line and also removed a challenging ~50 year old red oak. The oak was very close (~20') to our house and sandwiched between our septic riser pump/line and leach bead. They also ground the stump of the red oak and removed several trees along the wood line. Along with the tree removals, they pruned a white oaks limbs that were starting to get too close to the roof.

Brock & his crew are amazing - we have used his services multiple times for tricky, tall tress (e.g., 85-90 foot hardwood trees) close to the house for both full tree removal as well as trees that we just need a few limbs removed. We also trust him to walk around the property and advise us on what trees are no longer healthy.

Brock and his Team exceeded my expectation and completed the project under budget and on time. They took extra time to clean up after they finish removing several large tree’s and left the yard better than they found it. Brock Holtzclaw was a student of mine in the NC State Horticulture Department, and while there did a couple of jobs for me, helping to thin some of the larger trees from the back of my property. He had worked for his father, an arborist in Charlotte, for years before attending college, and was already an excellent climber and arborist. That first job that he did for me was a bit tricky in that he couldn't just drop the limbs that he cut; he had to put them on a zip line and send them across our property to an open space. It worked beautifully. Several years later, after not being able to find an arborist familiar with pruning Pecans in my city, Raleigh, NC, Brock agreed to take on the job, driving from his city, Charlotte. Again, he did an excellent job, and in a very short time span. Brock is a champion climber, an excellent arborist, and an easy person to relate to. I give him my highest recommendation!!

Brock and Clay came out and took down several gum ball tress. One tree was right next to the house. Brock started at the top of tree and took it down by sections. I was amazed that not one small ltem fell on the roof of the house. Brock was very Professional and very Safety conscious of everything around he and Clay. This is a Five Star Crew.

Brock H. and his Team did a professional job in pruning our trees. There work skills were safe, effective and left our tree canopy at a perfect height. When the work was completed (5 trees), our yard was cleaner than when they started. We'll have them back to begin work in the front yard next month!
