This being our first custom home and living two hours away, Mike and Hayley kept us up to date on all aspects of the build. Mike has a very deep knowledge of different choices and helped guide us through the decision-making process. Hayley was great at arranging all the details and answering our long list of questions. Mike's whole team was exceptional to work with and all his subs had the same good character and passion for quality. When the buyers of our old house wanted to move in earlier than we had expected, Mike and Hayley made sure we could move into our new house on time, and we didn't need to find temporary housing. We really appreciated that. We had heard he was one of the best builders in Lincoln, and we found this to be true.

Mike is the cream of the crop. While other builders give one price to the bank and you another, Mike let's you see all the numbers and make the decision that is best for you. When you walk into a home Mike and his team has built, you can feel, smell, see the difference. Mike treats his contractors well and they do good work for him. When we got multiple bids, Mike had a full binder put together so you could see exactly what you would be getting if you said yes. Other builders give you a list and a number, but you have no idea what you're getting. If you want a sure choice, he's the winner, hands down!

Mike Rezac and his team were professional and offered great advice throughout the home building process. Mikes' years of experience allowed him to eliminate issues that may come up. The quality of the workmanship is obvious in all parts of the home. He remained actively involved in all steps of building the home. His sub-contractors were also helpful and professional. My wife and I experience was awesome. The thing that I like about Rezac Construction is his integrity. He always did the right thing and would never cut corners. His quality of work was always top notch and unlike a lot of other builders, he was totally available to us. I would recommend Mike to anyone and never be afraid of his work, he is so honest. Another things I really respect Mike is that all of his subs love him because he treats them right. If Mike told you that a sub would be their that day, they were there. When we committed to building our dream home we interviewed 4 builders. From three we received two to four page spec sheets as their bid. We received a 1.5" binder that included all of the sub's bids and product pamphlets from Mike and Hayley along with their allowances. Although their allowances were by far the most realistic, we still went over some. You will find that you probably will as well but those are just choices you make as you go through the process. We chose Rezac because of their bid details and we were just more comfortable with them from the beginning. Mike works with quality subcontractors and we would hire any of them to work on our home again. They were fantastic! This home is truly our dream home and we love it more every day! Building a home is a long process but we enjoyed it very much and Mike and Hayley steered us in the right direction when we were struggling. Our plans are for this to be our forever home but if those plans change we would certainly work with Mike and Hayley again. If you want a high quality energy efficient home you should too!

Nobody does everything right the first time but this builder does not miss much. More importantly, when its not right he makes it right

Having built three houses prior, we had pretty specific ideas of what we wanted. First we wanted a quality built home where corners were not cut just to save the builder money. Second we wanted an energy efficient home. Mike has conducted studies and done extensive research into geothermal, so he is very knowledgeable. He also has first hand experience as his own home has geothermal and solar energy. As the building project progressed and we saw Mike overseeing the construction, we knew we had made a wise choice in contractors. He was always available for advice and we were encourage to ask questions. Mike allowed us to save money by purchasing products online and gave us the freedom to choose our own subcontractors for specific jobs, such as wood flooring and cabinets. He worked with us to assure the house uniquely reflected us and was not a cookie cutter of other houses. We were on site daily, not to micro manage, but to enjoy the process of building our last home. Therefore we got to know all Mikes subcontractors along with his employees, Joe and Jason. Each one was courteous, helpful , professional and an expert in their field and all commented about the exceptional quality of Mikes homes. We noticed how well scheduled each sub was. When one was finished, immediately the next was there to do their job. Thanks to Hayley for her work in scheduling. Communication with Hayley was always prompt, friendly and questions answers. In the end, we have a home that is just what we wanted and the final cost was exactly what Mike had originally bid! This was by far the best building experience we've ever had. Thanks! I was an inspector for Building And Safety for 9yrs. Mikes homes are of top quality and will last for generations. Mike prides himself in craftsmanship in the homes he builds. He may or may not be the cheapest builder in town however you get what you pay for. Experience and quality out of this man. Rezac Construction built our new home, which was started last year, and completed this year (2015). Our home was designed by an architect, and Rezac Construction, specifically Mike Rezac, worked closely with him to ensure that the house our architect designed was well built and met the specifications. Mike's expertise is "green construction," and we are more than pleased with the energy efficient features he includes in his projects, as well as the skill of his subcontractors. Our modern farmhouse, built on my husband's family farm, is unique, and Mike worked hard to build the home we wanted, not a home that fit his comfort level. Mike Rezac built our house at The Bridges. We were very happy with the results. Mike was very easy to work with, was very open to changes, and also offered a lot of advice on our house. The application was really easy to use. It kept us updated on the status, gave us updates on invoices, and let us approve changes to the house. This was the second house we built and it was a very good experience. We designed the house with the help of Michelle Penn and it was really helpful to visualize the end results.

He calls me when a project run into problems and we are able to work something out together.
