We consulted with Michelle to design our cozy library space. She transformed our space with novel elegant design ideas, including a very cool hidden Murphy bookshelf door. Most important, she listened to our functional needs and balanced them with our budget. Her final design vision completely transformed the space. We couldn’t be more pleased. She was professional and communicative to work with. Cannot recommend her enough!

We had just done a lot of work on our home and I was stuck on finding a wallpaper - Michelle came in and we picked one within an hour, it was installed within the next couple weeks by her installer, and we picked out fabric for the curtains as well. I was re-doing my guest bedroom and hired Re-Feather Your Nest to work on the bedding and window treatments. We were looking for a calm, spa-like retreat, and they were able to deliver just that! All the while, their friendly professionalism never wavered. I would definitely hire them again!

We have a 95 year old house, Michelle was able to come in and transform our old kitchen, all with keeping with the style and period of the home. We are extatic with the results!!!

We purchased a much bigger house than the one we were currently living in, so I knew I needed help. The problem is, I know what I like when I see it, but have no idea what goes with what and what type of furnishings would complement my new transitional style home. I found Michelle Gonnella (Re-Feather Your Nest) on Houzz.com and was so glad I did. I am a Type A personality, and am very blunt when asked for my opinion. Michelle was a perfect fit. She took the time with me to go to different furniture stores; had patience with me while I was on the fence with many different fabrics; helped me by putting me in touch with master builders and artists to create my amazing library (favorite room in the house); she took the time to understand our needs (bad back, pet, young kids with special needs) and worked her magic. I could reach her any time. She replied to any questions quickly. If any problems arose; like a fabric or item being discontinued; she was quick to remedy the situation by finding me great alternatives. Michelle came up with great floor plans, colors, window treatments and lighting ideas, and kept me grounded when I was going out of my mind trying to decorate four huge rooms (two of which I did not even have in the last house). Anyone who has visited our house has complemented us on our new furnishings. I know we have more to do in the future, and I will definitely call her when I am ready to design the rest of my home.

Susan and Michelle helped me create my dream home! When the opportunity came up for us to move into a larger home and give us more space, I couldn't wait. Then once we moved in, reality set in on how to actually decorate some of these spaces. In particular was a very large Great Room that I didn't even know where to start with. Enter Susan, who helped take that large, imposing room and turned it into a warm, cozy, inviting room for the whole family. Working with the existing color scheme in the rest of the house, Susan picked out colors, fabrics and styles that really spoke to my taste. She was even able to design the room around a chair that my husband wanted. We are so thrilled with the results! Susan helped in other areas of our home as well with furniture placements, dressing some very large built in bookcases, and just adding those 'right' touches to the more formal rooms in the house. In fact, I used the hate my Living Room in my old house. To me it was functional and nothing more. Now, after the little touches that Susan added, it is one of my favorite spaces in the whole house. Michelle really helped finish off the look of the house. I knew from the start that I was going to use a professional to do all the window treatments seeing as the house has SO MANY windows. I knew what I liked and didn't like, and in some rooms knew exactly what I wanted, but in others I was stumped. Michelle helped me navigate those waters easily. She helped me get the look I was going for, and in a lot of areas helped me save money while doing it. Her recommendations of fabrics that looked like silk but were not were great choices for the formal areas. She also worked with me on modifying my hardware that I had brought from my previous home or matching it where needed. She even helped come up with a way to install a plantation shutter on an odd shaped window in a bathroom. Her installers were fantastic and very neat/clean. I was very happy that I had both Susan and Michelle assist me with my new home and look forward to continuing working with them as more projects arise.

As this was our second installation by Refeather Your Nest, we knew what to expect. Michelle Gonella, who we'd worked with before, clearly knows window shades and decorating -- she's quick to suggest alternatives that make sense, whether in style, color, or operation. She also keeps up on new products, can describe how the new products compare to older ones, as well as how new shades operate and should be maintained. Michelle is also good at suggesting styles and colors that blend in with furniture and paint colors, whether they are new or existing furniture/paint colors. So she makes it possible to add window treatments to an existing room that work well without requiring full redecoration of an entire room -- good in creating less upheaval and good in controlling overall cost. From our discussions with her, she's also very knowledgeable about drapes and curtains, not just shades. She has been very helpful and great to work with both times we've consulted her and used her service.

I have worked with both Michelle and Susan on a number of projects over the past several years. They are both extremely professional to work with and will manage your project around your budget and taste. Michelle provides outstanding service if there is any problem with a product even years after it has been installed. I highly recommend.

I enjoyed working with Michelle so much! I wanted to update my living room and needed guidance. I was especially concerned with my windows and asked Michelle to help. She helped me choose drapes and the hardware and made suggestions on length etc . She also considered my budget which I really appreciated. We also picked out some area rug options at that 1st meeting and she had samples mailed to me. I used her installers who were wonderful. I just love the way the drapes look! The room is so different now and I can't wait for the new carpet. I smile every time I walk into the room now. Michelle also made some simple suggestions, at my request, for my bedroom. I changed the bedroom furniture around as she suggested and we cannot believe the difference. The room makes sense now and we feel like we have much more space. Michelle has a great eye and is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to use Re-Feather Your Nest again.
