RHEINZINK

RHEINZINK is an ARCHITECTURAL GRADE zinc used for roof, façade cladding, drainage goods and ornamental zinc. A crafted metal, combining high-grade zinc with trace elements of titanium and copper, RHEINZINK adds elegance and generations of service in architectural applications. Zinc is a proven, dependable material with a potential lifespan of a century or more and has been used extensively in Europe since the early 1800’s. RHEINZINK meets the ASTM standard specification for Architectural Rolled Zinc, which is designation ASTM B-69-16. Currently, RHEINZINK is the only manufacturer with a Type II designation, which is the graphite-grey alloy. RHEINZINK is available in three product lines. CLASSIC, prePATINA LINE and artCOLOR. CLASSIC is the original line - bright rolled and shiny. PrePATINA has two "colors" that are derived from the material itself - prePATINA blue-grey and prePATINA graphite-grey. These two RHEINZINK lines develops a natural patina through weathering. Only RHEINZINK manufactures material that derives its pre-weathered colors based on the alloy with all the positive aspects such as its self-healing capability. The patina makes RHEINZINK extremely durable, corrosion resistant and virtually maintenance free. With the artCOLOR LINE, a pallet of five colors is available to augment any project.
