Rick Taylor of Annapolis Heirlooms does a great job! He replaced our kitchen cabinets with nice high-end cabinets with dovetail drawers and soft-close hinges. We also purchased an inexpensive upgrade for a panel moulding on the exposed sides of the cabinets which makes the Shaker style that is in a little less plain. His workmanship is excellent! The subcontractor who did the countertop was easy to work with and very helpful in picking out our countertops. We get many compliments on our new kitchen.

We highly recommend Rick for a kitchen remodel. We have a complicated kitchen footprint; Rick handled all the weird angles and made everything fit and now the space works so much better. His contract spelled everything out and he finished on schedule and on budget. He's easy to work with and keeps the communication open so you know exactly what's going on and what to expect next. Quality cabinets and professional installation. His flooring, plumbing, countertop, tile, and drywall subs did excellent work, too. We definitely made the right choice.

We wanted a new kitchen for years. We researched many kitchen contractors and couldn’t decide until we met with Rick Taylor. We have done many home renovations ourselves over the years so we are very familiar with working with contractors. When we purchased our new home a year ago, we knew we wanted someone with experience to redo our kitchen, which spiraled into redoing much of our first floor. Our friends had used Rick for their kitchen remodel, and had highly recommended him to us. Our project was a big one -- we decided to knock out the wall between our dining room and kitchen to make one large kitchen, requiring a flush mount beam, a new window, moving our garage entryway door, and replacing the floors in the entire first floor. We worked with Rick on our design ideas and he was excellent to work with in making suggestions and being flexible to our vision. Rick told us he meticulously plans and schedules his subcontractors to have kitchens done quickly. We were understandably skeptical that he could complete our extra large kitchen remodel in only 4 weeks, so we mentally added another month to that just to be safe. LOL. But we needn't have worried. Rick started demo on our old kitchen on October 21, and he had packed his tools for his next job by November 22. The only reason it was bumped an extra few days was because the flooring we ordered got damaged (by the supplier, nothing to do with Rick & crew) and we had to wait an additional few days for the new floors to arrive. There were still a few odds and ends to finish up as with any project, but we had a functional kitchen back in the promised time. Incredible. Living through a kitchen remodel is one of the most intrusive and stressful construction projects you can undertake. This is our second kitchen remodel (the first we did ourselves) and I was floored with how fast, hardworking, and NEAT Rick is. Despite the very messy job of kitchen construction, Rick left his tools tidy every day and did his best to keep the space neat. Literally anytime I showed friends and family progress pictures, they commented on just how clean the space was kept so it's not just me! Rick is so friendly and easy to work with, too. He was a pleasure to have in our home during the remodel. Another part of the process that I really appreciated was Rick's transparency in pricing. There are no hidden gimmicks, and he even walked us through a few of his previous contracts to explain how he calculates his prices at our initial meeting. When the bill was finally due, Rick was nearly exactly on with his estimate. I was honestly shocked. We found his prices to be comparable or lower than other estimates, and his cabinets are all custom made on site, so you are also getting the beauty of custom cabinetry. I enthusiastically recommend Rick Taylor to anyone looking for a home kitchen remodel. He made our kitchen dream a reality and we love the final product so much!

It is challenging to capture all project expenses, schedule durations and accurate scope within a week but Rick nailed it and exceeded those dedications.
