Rick Lamontagne, owner and president of Richlyn Custom Homes, is well known in the Edmonton home building community. Rick has years of experience in building; he began as a carpenter before founding Richlyn Custom Homes more than a decade ago. His "hands on" construction background has provided him with knowledge and experience that is paramount in building a quality custom home.

The builder was not cooperative and did not finish the project as he promised on the contract with his timeline.

Rick is technically very sound and was patient while providing us great advice to support our decision-making. His construction knowledge in addition to his attention to detail and the relationship that we built with him over the course of the project gave us the confidence that he was building our home and not just another house.

When we started to build our new house at the lake, we needed a special kind of builder who could problem solve lots of complicated situations like water tables, and a client who wasn't quite sure exactly what we wanted. Rick was more than patient with our requests for customization and unique ideas. He was always pleasant, responsive and personable in all interactions. Most of all, he is a master at what he does. He is meticulous and takes great pride in his homes. We were not his typical type of build, but he put all of his energy into making things work. There is not enough room on this review to demonstrate all of the positive things we have to say about Rick. We highly recommend him! Come and see the beautiful home he built for us!
