We are so happy with the job RLS Custom Carpentry has done. We live in a high wind area and on a multi direction hillside, and RLS was able to build beautiful fencing around our property. We are so grateful for the strength and durability of the workmanship compared to what we had prior really isn’t an equal comparison. RLS was able to get the material and job done in timely manor. The crew members professional and respectful, I would highly recommend them.

RLS Custom Carpentry did a remodel at our residence the summer of 2018, which included reframing a number of exterior walls and adding shear panels as well as re-sheathing and repairing our roof. Due to the engineering specifications they also did substantial retro work under our house to secure it to the foundations. They build a new front and back porch, put new siding on the full exterior and replaced most of the windows in the house. All of the work was done with a high degree of skill and everything looked great and worked perfectly when they were finished. Rob and his crew kept the project immaculate, which was important since we were living in our house during the construction. They picked up all of the materials and packed their tools every evening and swept the whole site. They were friendly with me and my family during the project and really listened to me when I had suggestions or opinions regarding parts of the project that were not fully specified. I am very pleased with the results and am delighted to recommend RSL Custom Carpentry LLC.

We had a retaining wall and large deck replaced. The RLS contractor did a beautiful professional job. We are extremely pleased with the end result. Also, there was no delay in getting the job done. Once it was started, our project was worked on consistently from start to finish!

Rob Schmetzer has created numerous projects on our property and all were made with a magnificent skillset. His work is built to last and, most importantly, his design ability and creative mind will set all your projects far apart from all the rest. He has made several decks that all have a unique design, several gates and, one in particular, looks like something you might find while entering Jurassic Park or a Castle- they are HUGE, gorgeous and always a conversation piece when our guests arrive. He built a floating dock, for our lake, that will be enjoyed by many, in the coming warmer months and now that our lake has some water. In addition to Rob's skillset, he is reliable, easy to work with, thoughtful, trustworthy and has a great personality, with a sense of humor, which I always appreciate in a person. You will not go wrong hiring Rob and his team; they will get the job done and you will surely be happy with the outcome.
