My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

Carroll Construction is a family-owned, family-run Louisiana company with over 58 years of combined experience in designing, remodeling, and constructing custom houses in the Greater Baton Rouge area. The company was founded by Edward and Tracy Carroll and quickly gained a reputation for their well built homes and personalized attention to all of their customers. With Edward at the helm, Carroll Construction became known for homes that could be counted on for both their beauty and durability. In 2007, the team was joined part time by Robert Carroll who is now co-owner and full time builder/remodeler. With a degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University, Robert brought new ideas for energy efficiency and aging-in-place principles. Additionally he has made it possible for Carroll Construction to offer a personalized website for each of their customers that helps track the progress of construction.

I've worked with Robert and Edward for several years through both the CRBA and Louisiana Home Builders Association and can attest that Carroll Construction's design and construction projects are of the highest quality! Robert also has an excellent online app for his customers to use that streamlines the decision making process for amenities like blinds, shutters and shades. I often recommend Carroll Construction to customers wanting a custom home built in Louisiana.

When my husband decided that we would build our dream home, I was extremely nervous about the idea! However, with strong faith and spending a lot time talking to many loan originators, home builders, architects/designers and others families that built their home, we were introduced to the Best Home Builder family, Edward Carroll Construction! They have worked with us from the beginning... over 2 years.. with helping us with our house plans, land preparation, and assited us with all our home selections!! Mr. Edward, Mrs. Tracy and Mr. Robert are very professional, knowledgeable, resourceful and personable. They may not be the cheapest, but if you are seeking a home built with great Quality, A Plus construction management, plus receive personal attention as if your home was their only construction project then I highly recommend Edward Carroll Construction to build your dream home!! Robert Carroll and his professional team came into our home and not only listened to our suggestions that my husband and I both had for our living room and kitchen's remodeling, but he also shared his own amazing ideas. They started when they said that they would start and actually completed the job earlier than their target date. Friendly, informative and totally professional is the only way that we can describe this company.
