My wife and I recently purchased The Inn at Arrowhead; a small mountain Inn, located on the Western Slope of Colorado. We had no idea at the time that all of the artistry and talent needed to renovate our new endeavor would be found in Ron Corder. Ron is an amazing craftsman, with seemingly unending talent. Ron was commissioned to hand-build a new bar, as well as a breakfast nook for our Inn. We also hired him to do trim work in our guest rooms and lobby. Not only did he deliver a jaw-dropping end product, but he did so with a level of professionalism and skill that would leave the most demanding client anxious to repeat the experience. Ron's personal character is of the highest degree. He is honest, upfront, caring, and involved in every detail and on every level with his work. I personally traveled with Ron to the lumber mill, where a pre-selected, specific section of tree was painstakingly measured, cut, rotated, and cut again to provide the absolute best material with the least amount of waste. Ron's attention to detail and foresight during the entire building process was beyond impressive; nothing short of a true testament to his high level of skill. I will not hesitate to call Ron again for further projects, nor will I hesitate to recommend Ron to my friends or family. The one and only downside I can see to working with Ron in the future is the fact that his schedule is filling as he is becoming properly recognized for the level of skill that he possesses. I, like many American consumers want my product perfect, and I want it today! Ron is efficient, however he is only one man. If you have a project in mind, or something you would like designed and built, call him now; don't wait while he makes someone else's dream come true!! ---Patrick Amie---

My husband and I are general contractors in the Chicago area. Our business caters to high-end remodeling, additions, and new homes. As you can imagine, our own home has many customized details and we have designed and built much of our own furniture. We even have our own cabinet makers on staff. However, we are geared to big city homes and condos with contemporary and traditional designs. Pine and aspen split-log mountain rustic interiors and furniture were out of our realm. So when we were fortunate enough to acquire a second home in the mountains of Colorado, we were even luckier to find Ron Corder and his rustic, custom-made furniture. His designs are beautiful yet functional. And when we came up with our own unique needs and wants, he was more than accommodating. So now we have a house full of magnificent mountain furniture, thanks to Ron's expertise, skill, talent and patience. Thank you, Ron. We will be forever grateful. Ron does the highest quality work and brings really great design aspects to the table. I commissioned him to do build the dry bar ( show in one of his photos ) and we worked well together designing this piece of art.. When he had new ideas about the piece he called me and we would look at the piece in a different light. and made decisions based on the new ideas. The finished work was incredible. He also refaced cabinets shown in one of his photos. There was red oak cabinets and we took all the doors and drawers off and he refaced it with his free form doors and drawers. He also used a Doug Fir for the counter top.
