Royal Spa

We have owned three brand new hot tubs. I would never ever again purchase a hot tub from Royal spa. This company is the most unorganized and pretty much useless company I have ever dealt with. They are nothing but excuses and don't even work together to try to come up with a solution to make the customer happy. I'm sorry I have to even put a one star down. They do not deserve it Look elsewhere

MORE LIKE ROYAL SCAM They came out to repair my hot tub on Tuesday. A guy named Donnie called me and went over the problems and quoted me $869 + Tax for the repairs. An hour later he called me back to say he was going to have to come back to finish installing the jets and needed a credit card #. I paid him $841. I asked why the bill was $841 if it wasn’t complete, he said that was the bill + tax and the jets would be less than $100 when he came back. I was hesitant to pay him because it all sounded a bit sketchy at best. "It's going to run $869" and I give approval, "It's not done but I need $841" - how is is $841 and not done? So I owe $28? "No tax was in there too". How much will it be when you return. "Ummm, uhhh, the parts are cheap, under $100 with tax". He returned today, I spoke to him on the phone and told him to give me a call after I’d pay him. Instead of doing so, he went to the door and asked my son for payment. The bill was $193 and he paid him in cash. My son called and told me and I’ve called “DONNIE” 9x now and he’s not answering. I’ve also called Royal Spa several times and left a message but of course can’t get through to anyone. This is a 100% straight SCAM. Before the job began, this also included cleaning out the hot tub to which he later stated I needed to do so, if he did it, it would be extra. Super sketchy……won’t use them or recommend them again. I’ve spent THOUSANDS here over the years and I’m very disappointed. Sometimes, being the “main game” or “only game” in town means that service and honesty no longer matter.

This is the second hot tub that I have purchased from Royal Spa. On both occasions I have been fortunate enough to have an extremely knowledgeable sales person. This time Sean, at the Pendleton Pike store was very helpful in helping us decide on color, options etc He went out of his way to make sure that we had a pleasant purchasing experience. He is a true service professional.
