It has been a pleasure to have Ruth Richards as my interior designer for the last three years. Ruth has designed my dining room, home office, family room and kitchen. I am very pleased with how Ruth transformed these rooms and made them all flow nicely as they are all on the first floor of my home. Her ability to make rooms work harmoniously with each other is something Ruth does really well. All of the rooms Ruth designed put a smile on my face and bring me a lot of happiness everyday I look at them. Ruth comes to design meetings very well prepared and has always taken the time to go the extra mile to ensure every little detail is correct. Ruth has always provided me with excellent options for rugs, furniture, fabric, wallpaper and accessories. She is conscientious, patient and dedicated to her clients. Ruth's warm and friendly personality makes the design process pleasurable. It has been an enjoyable experience to collaborate with Ruth on the rooms she has designed. I have worked with Ruth on several projects and love everything she has done. She is professional, detail oriented, kind and always respectful of my budget. One project was especially challenging since we started shortly before awareness of the pandemic however Ruth managed to make the process stress free and the results far exceeded my expectations. I've had the pleasure of working with Ruth over the past year for my family room and kitchen area. Ruth was instrumental in helping us decide how to orient the room, choosing the right fabrics/textures, helping the furniture all flow together, and just generally providing great advice for how to put a room together with correct proportions (especially for new homeowners who have never decorated a large space before). She made it a priority to stay within our budget while helping us prioritize which pieces were worth spending more on. I have one toddler and another on the way and she was wonderful in showing us fabrics that would survive for years without compromising style. Highly recommended.

I found Ruth through Houzz after interviewing a few interior designers. We are currently working together on decorating my home and she has been a pleasure to work with. Our house is new and the style is a contemporary Tuscan. For our decor, I did not want to see the typical Tuscan colors or finishes. I really wanted something more eclectic, fresh and clean with a mix of old and new. Ruth spent quite a bit of time with me upfront trying to understand my tastes and preferences so that we could get it right and also ensure that it worked with the house. It can be an overwhelming process as the possibilities are endless and there are so many choices. Ruth has made it very easy by presenting a few foundational concepts for each room and then based on those decisions, helped guide me through additional selections for the room. We are close to complete with the kitchen, dining room, family room and entry area. The finishing touches take time as to be expected. Each room has its own look and feel but they all flow well together. At the start of our project Ruth worked with me on the budget, helping me understand what it might look like based upon my preferences and taste. We are pretty much on target with the budgeting thus far. Ruth has a great eye and can work with any style. She's been a pleasure to work with and I look forward to seeing the finished project!

She was very consistent and had such great style throughout the website. Although I did not live close to her, I decided that picking the right interior designer with true design skills was more important than picking someone based on proximity. She has a true vision and opinion while also letting us choose our style. She is making our home come to life in the most beautiful way. We recommend Ruth to anyone even across the country.

Ruth has been a pleasure to work with. My first project with her was my master bedroom. I am thrilled with the finished project. It's my favorite room in my house. Ruth is very meticulous and a master at choosing colors. She is easy to work with and respectful of budgets and my personal taste. She keeps in mind also that the room must also flow with the rest of the house. Since my master bedroom project she has done my daughter and sons rooms and is currently helping me with my office. She has wonderful ideas and moves the project along nicely without seeming to pressure you. She is very good at finding you subcontractors but is also happy to work with people you have in mind as well.
