I have been a licensed stucco contractor for almost 50 years and during that time I have worked as a subcontractor for many companies. RWT Design & Construction rates as one of the best if not the best General Contractor I have had the pleasure to work with. And I was right. Romney is an expert and takes the time to answer all your questions. The artistry of his work is astonishing. When you walk into the space after the work is done, it's like "Oh my!!!"

I have always heard stories about terrible contractors who once awarded a job, disappear and don't keep in touch with their clients. Well, let me just say, that Romney is not that type of contractor. While working on rebuilding our deck and fixing our ADU, he was extremely communicative throughout the process. He always went the extra step to make sure things were being done correctly and came to our house often to personally give us an update and advise on next steps or came out to supervise the work being done. Also, the crews he hired were all very respectful and nice. Our deck looks fantastic and more importantly, it's weather-proof. The ADU looks better than it did before. All in all, it was a job really well done. Without hesitation, I would call Romney again for another home project.

We had a great experience with Romney and team on a sunporch remodel. Romney was attentive and listened to our ideas and also offered great suggestions. Karen helped with picking out some of the materials that were used in the final build and the entire crew that was brought in was clean and courteous. We would definitely recommend RWT Construction for any home remodels and design services. On top of doing quality work, they're also nice people which makes a huge difference in my book!

I cannot recommend RWT and Romney highly enough. His attention to detail, professionalism, and timeliness helped our ADU renovation get completed in permit-happy Burbank in 5 months from demo to sign off (and this is with delays from holidays, supply chain problems, and crew illness). Any question we had, Romney replied to us quickly and any problem we had, he dealt with it promptly. Working with Curt for architecture and Karen for interior design was smooth as well. We used one firm for everything, and we're happy that we did. Romney's experience helps him find good workmen and good materials, and schedule everything efficiently--but that wouldn't matter if the quality of the work wasn't good. And it is excellent. We love how the space feels and are thrilled with the process. In fact, we're starting the process of future home renovations with RWT.

Romney is a contractor and his wife Karen Tripp is a designer. Romney did some repair projects for us and we were very impressed with his knowledge and reliability. So when we had a major remodel, our master bathroom, we called Romney and Karen. They were amazing! Karen understood my tastes immediately and came up with the perfect design suggestions. Romney was completely on top of the project, from start to finish. He kept us apprised and made sure his excellent team was on time each day, cleaned up when they were done, and did top notch work. The bathroom passed city inspection the first time every time. Romney and Karen were dreams to work with and obviously really care about their clients and their work. We highly recommend them!

Romney and the team at RWT have put our prior contractors to shame. After calling countless other contractors and companies only to be provided with shoddy work and/or to never hear from them again, Romney tackled a variety of much needed work in our home after we had mold problems, including drywall, painting, floor work, a bathroom remodel, and more. He never left us hanging and he did a great job. This work continued over a couple of months and we would certainly call him again and recommend him to others.

I have been working with Romney and RWT construction for over 20 years now. Whenever I think of getting work done on my house I think of Romney. He duplicates what I want and is always professional. I never have to worry about something not being done correctly or being left with a mess after a job is done. Romney always takes care of the project like it was his own house. I would highly recommend RWT construction for your remodeling needs.
