Ordered a Rev a Shelf stainless steel tilt out sink tray from Houzz.Com but supplied by Rok Hardware. The first one came severely scratched on the front and sides and not in the manufacture's box. I called Houzz.com for assistance. I requested a refund but the seller insisted they'd send me a new one..........and they did .....BUT.....it was dented....scratches or dents? I gave up....... Don't order anything from this seller. The quality of the merchandise is probably seconds.

This is Sean, the owner of Rok Hardware. I'm sorry for the poor experience that you received and would like to address your review. Rev-A-Shelf Tip-Out trays (in the size that you ordered) only come in boxes of 20 directly from the manufacturer. Since you ordered a quantity of one, you would not receive it in an original manufacturer's box. You can always ask Rev-A-Shelf direct to verify this information.

In regards to scratches on the product, each stainless steel tip-out tray has a plastic protective coating/film over them, which is for cosmetic scratches that can occur during shipments, since 20 of these are jammed into one box. If you haven't disposed of them already, I highly suggest removing the film, which will reveal that the tray itself is brand new, void of scratches.

No questions asked, we would have shipped a replacement out to you. Houzz contacted us and said to not send the replacement, because you would like a refund. No problem, we cancelled the replacement request. Then we were told that "there was miscommunication" and that you wanted the replacement. Again, no problem at all. We were not insisting on a replacement whatsoever. We just wanted to do whatever would make you satisfied. We did not ask for the return of either tip-out tray that was claimed to be damaged, specifically because we do not sell second-hand products and it would also be an inconvenience to you. Our quality control is maintained because we do not take back products that have been used or damaged in any way.

It's unfortunate that you weren't able to deal with me directly. Your review was difficult to digest, because I wasn't able to actually handle the customer service for your order. Rok Hardware has a reputation of excellent prices and customer service. In this case, I had to relay information to Houzz, and then they would "simplify" it, omitting some of the important things that I would have told you directly.

If there is anything possible that I can do to reverse this for you and make it a 5 star experience, I'm willing and able. I personally want to ensure that you continue to shop on Houzz and Rok Hardware with confidence.

Great people with the best prices by far! ROK Hardware in Irvine is what all businesses should strive for. Excellent customer service and I can't say competitive prices because they're way less expensive than any other brick and mortar or Internet sales business.
