Nothing but LOVE and appreciation for Sandi Kaneko Interiors and our two new beautiful bathrooms! We could not be happier with the whole experience of working with Sandi and her team, as well as the outcome and quality of work that was done in our two bathrooms. From start to finish, the process was seamless because of the attention and care by Sandi and the whole team. Sandi designed two bathrooms for us to uniquely meet the needs of our family which includes a tween boy, teenage girl, grandparent visits, and guests. She beautifully combined aesthetics, function, durability, and design in a way that we could never have done ourselves. We now have two beautiful bathrooms that we are very proud of and make our lives better and easier every day; seriously! This is the first time that we worked with an interior designer and in our experience, this was the very best decision and one that I will always do for future home projects. Without hesitation or reservation, I will call on Sandi and her team for our next project(s) and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to others. We are brimming with gratitude!

Sandi and her team took us all the way to the finish line! We decided to work with an interior designer because: 1. We’re both busy working parents, 2. We had no prior experience with interior design or remodeling, 3. We had absolutely no clue how to navigate the awkward layout of our home, and 4. We didn’t want to invest heavily in renovations only to end up with results we weren’t thrilled with. From the very beginning, Sandi was fantastic to work with and the perfect person for the job. She listened carefully, asked the right questions, and guided us from a vague idea to a design that far exceeded our expectations. Our project involved reimagining our primary suite and refreshing another bathroom, and the transformation was remarkable. The standout achievement was how Sandi completely reinvented our outdated 1950s primary suite. She created a timeless, functional layout that feels modern yet perfectly suited to our home. Working with her recommended general contractor also made the process seamless. We chose to have Sandi manage the project with the builder, which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. She handled countless details and kept everything on track, lifting a huge weight off our shoulders. Renovations are expensive and full of potential pitfalls, but having Sandi by our side made all the difference. She’s an absolute gem in Claremont, and we can’t wait to work with her again on other areas of our home.

We had used Sandi and her team for a smaller project a few years ago (2018 maybe?) and they were who we turned to when a large leak in our house turned into a great opportunity to finally do the rest of the renovations we had been dreaming of. I can't say enough good things about Sandi and her team--there is no way we could have done a project of this scale without them. My husband and I are both busy professionals and Sandi's team made everything as easy as it could possibly be. We received responses usually same day when we had questions. They worked seamlessly with our contractor during every stage and the project was completed with exceptional speed. Sandi always presented us with a manageable number of choices and options. There were times where we didn't have the bandwidth to make choices and we had her exercise her creative expertise and the outcome is truly stunning. I am late writing this review but we have now been living in our "new" house for about 6 months and all of Sandi's thoughtfully designed details make our home both beautiful and livable. I cannot recommend Sandi and her team highly enough and we would absolutely turn to them again for another project of any scale.

We hired Sandi Kaneko to help us redesign our house after a plumbing disaster required us to redo all the flooring, the kitchen, and two bathrooms. A friend had hired her for a living room project and had nothing but the highest praise. We agree wholeheartedly. Sandi is a hands-on designer who took us directly to kitchen appliance, lighting, bath, and tile stores and guided us to furniture stores that had the kinds of things we were hoping to find. She gave us great advice about paint colors, cabinet brands and designs, counter materials, and fixtures, often putting us in touch with specialists who could answer additional questions about specific products. Sandi always responds in a timely manner and with great clarity and specificity. Incredibly talented and always professional, Sandi is also a joy to work with. Calm, kind, enthusiastic, and patient with our many questions. She listened to us carefully and responded to our budget concerns. On the other hand, she found ideas that cost more than we thought we would spend but will save us money in the long run and give us so much pleasure. She also came up with a design for the kitchen that makes it feel three times as large as it had been at relatively little expense! So light and airy! Since we couldn’t live in our house, much of our work with Sandi occurred while we were away, so a lot of it took place online and, occasionally, by phone. From 3,000 miles away, she helped us choose between contractors, interviewing them and giving us feedback. She also worked on site with the contractor we hired when structural questions arose and made it clear to him what we had in mind. If it had been possible to have Sandi advise us on furnishing the house, we would have. It was such a pleasure to work with someone so experienced, efficient, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Her assistant, Jen, was also very helpful. We love our “new” house and wholeheartedly recommend Sandi Kaneko Interiors.

Sandi is amazing. We hired Sandi on the recommendation of a friend to design and assist with the remodel of our kitchen, dining room, laundry room and bathroom. After doing my own research, I thought I had a specific vision in mind, but Sandi really helped us hone in on something beautiful and functional. She listened to us and put a lot of thought into how we live and how we wanted to use our space in order to come up with a design that perfectly fit our lives and style. Any designer can give your a beautiful design, but not every designer can take your specific needs and style and turn it into something that is unique to your home and family. She did everything--put together mood boards, presented furnishing options and suggested ways to save on costs without sacrificing style. She also recommended an excellent contractor who got the project done on time, with no delays, as promised. Sandi's organizational skills meant that all the materials were lined up and ready to go as soon as the contractor was ready--there was no waiting time between demo and install. We've lived in the space for over a year now and I still love it! 10/10 would recommend!

WE LOVE HER! Sandi helped us with almost every room in our home and everything has been amazing! She really incorporated our style and aesthetic and was really helpful when we brought our own ideas to the table, too. We are so thankful for her. She has done so many projects in the neighborhood that we work in and we knew would be the ideal person to help us with our home. We get so many compliments from our bathroom tiles and design to the porch lights and then to our bedroom (wallpaper included!). She is a dream and you will not regret bringing her on board with any project you have in mind!

Sandi is an absolute gem; we are so glad we found her! We hired Sandi to help us with renovating 3 bathrooms at the same time and we got everything completed within 4 weeks! Sandi is creative and resourceful and was instrumental in bringing our our ideas to life. She helped us stick to our budget and timeline and helped us source high quality materials to make each of our bathrooms practical and special. Sandi was fantastic to work with on the redesign of our kitchen - which flowed into our family room and flooring too. She helped us to reimagine our spaces by asking how we used them and how we wanted to utilize them, i.e., for entertaining family/friends and general flow of activities. Sandi not only asked the questions, but she listened and provided excellent options and ideas. Sandi's design expertise is evident in her ability to visualize a space, options and what barriers might exist. She presents things clearly and in a manner that is easy to understand. Her connections within the industry give the customer opportunities to see/touch options before making selections. Sandi's connections and experience with contractors was invaluable as we were able to meet with them and make a selection of who we felt most comfortable with, knowing that she had successfully worked with them on other projects. As we moved through the entire project - from initial design, selections of lighting, window coverings, hardware, construction, etc., Sandi was always prompt on replies, deliverables and follow through - and communicated clearly and concisely. We did a bathroom design the year prior WITHOUT Sandi (& DM Renovation Inc.) and it was a nightmare!! Our kitchen project went incredibly smooth and we couldn't be more delighted with the results!
