Headquartered in Archbold, Ohio, a small, rural town in the northwest corner of the state, Sauder Woodworking Co. is a privately-held, family-run business (third generation). Founded in 1934 by Erie Sauder, who invented ready-to-assemble furniture, the business has grown into a family of companies offering a wide range of furniture solutions for various markets. Although the company’s brands and product offerings have evolved through the years, the core aspects of the business have remained unchanged. The company still holds true to the small town values of hard work, stewardship, trust and a heritage of innovation upon which it was built.
