Sawlor Built Homes

Sawlor completed a basement Reno for me this year. They assisted with planning the layout and the quality of finishes is a match to the rest of my home which they built in 2010. Same high standards and professionalism. I would recommend them for any project.

We hired Sawlor to build our home because of their local reputation and the impression we were left with after initial meetings. This was our first experience building and it was virtually painless due to selecting a great builder. We had apprehension about building in the beginning, as many of our friends and family had expressed their pains, poor experiences with poor builders or just the time/energy commitment needed when building a home. Sawlor was very professional yet friendly and down to earth(especially with a couple of newbies who needed some hand holding at times). Questions and concerns were addressed quickly, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and accomidating. Our quote to build was very reasonable, and responsible. They took the time to properly assess our taste and style so that allowances were realistic and staying within the quote given to us was possible without sacrificing our vision. While other quotes were lower they didn't match our vision leaving us guessing how far the price would eventually climb to when all was said and done. The team went above and beyond, at every level, more so than any other company we had heard about. Their process of computer generating your dream in the office prior to building, offering experienced suggestions and constant communication, eliminates expensive changes while building. Everyone who comes in our home is amazed by the details that are standard for this company. I would not hesitate to recommend this builder to anyone and already have several times. It is a decision you will NOT regret and in fact thank yourself many times over for making! Thanks to the Sawlor team our dream is now a reality :)

We had our home built last year by Sawlor Homes. This was our 3rd custom home and the first built by Sawlor. There is no question that this is the builder we would choose to use again. The team at Sawlor made the process easy. They were professional, accomodating and thorough. Mark is great at helping you with customization. He understands the home is to be lived in and he helps to make it meet your needs. As the project manager he then sees it through to the finish. Mary is incrediable - always quick to return calls, answer questions and is a great resource when you don't know who to go to, she gets things done. Tony is an incredable finish carpenter and helps with those all important final decisions. The tradespeople Keith has choosen to work with the Sawlor team are the best and all the work is top quality. Keith himself is great to work with - always calm, professional and working to give you exactly what you want. We hired Sawlor Construction for entire project from modifications to our design to move in. Very impressed with Keith Sawlor and his team. There was a very thorough consultation from day one; layout, electrical, plumbing, materials, upgrades, etc., and a complete 2" binder with all aspects of the building process, materials and agreed changes was given to us prior to touching the soil. The construction was slower than expected but then this was our first experience with a "custom" home builder. The house was not a 'knock-off' and his team's work showed that. They were very receptive to changes and individual input in the early consultation which reduced later issues to next to nothing. Highest quality materials throughout and excellent workmanship. To prove this point; there were no come backs/repairs performed by Keith or his team at the end of the 1 year period under the home ownership program which is essentially unheard of for most homes: and we were thorough in going over the house. Finally, Keith was also very amenable and reasonable to discussion of costs for various parts of the project and we came to agreements quickly. We could not be happier and look forward to 20 plus years of relaxation and enjoyment in our new home.

Keith Sawlor and his team were everything they claim and more. We love our house! And we loved working with them. We were impressed with how respectful everyone was of our home during construction. No detail was forgotten. We were able to relax and enjoy the process because within a short time we knew that we could trust the Sawlor team. I am SO glad we chose Sawlor. Even now we can call and ask questions and always know that they will back their work. Our house was finished on time and on budget. The allowances were often more than we needed. We received credit if change orders were made in our favour. There were no surprises. It was so much fun building with them that we were a little sad when it was all done. They are worth every penny!
