Shannon Terry Interiors transformed our tired and mismatched basement into a room of true beauty and style! Our basement is now a room where our family and friends can play at a board game in the “game nook”, play a game of “competitive” ping pong or just enjoy a cold beverage while watching a movie! Her expertise in designing around our family’s hobbies and lifestyle was truly amazing. The ease and clarity at which she guided us into this huge project was beyond what we could have ever imagined. Throughout the project Shannon managed and fine tuned every detail as though it were her own home project. We are beyond thrilled by our beautiful basement. Working with Shannon is a great experience! She is so creative, stylish and has an amazing eye for design. She helped me with my 1928 English Tudor. She added amazing decrative and slightly more modern touches without losing any of the original charm or character of my home. That is not an easy task. She is a true artist with an amazing eye. When I called Shannon, I was under incredible pressure to get my new house "done" or at least started ASAP. I had just sold my house and had to move into within 6 weeks, with 4 kids and 2 dogs. Shannon went out of her way to work with my short time frame in a completely professional way. She was my right-hand-man (woman) all the way, from room layout and design (she does this on the computer so you have a vision of how the room will look with furniture placement) to staging the room when it was complete. She was fantastic at creating "vision boards" for me - so we could pin ideas on a shared board on Pinterest and exchange ideas and see what items looked like together as I had trouble imagining the big picture, but Shannon made it so much easier - it wasn't overwhelming at all. She was excellent in working within a budget - something many decorators have trouble doing. I chose some high end furnishings and then I chose some moderately priced items too. She also had a great eye for pieces I could repurpose or reupholster and use in my new house. She passed on her Vendor discounts to me too - I was impressed. Hiring Shannon was one of the best things I have done - so much less stress for me as she helped me make great decisions. I was impressed with her professionalism, her follow through, her attention to details and her responsiveness - it was immediate. She listens to what your needs and style are and takes the lead from there. You can be as involved or just as importantly, uninvolved as you want to be in the decorating process. My friends can't stop saying how much they love the way my home looks - and I love it too!

Shannon took the time to get to know us and really understand what we wanted and needed in our bedroom. She helped us replace an awful wall of mirrors and really bad carpeting and paint - with quality work at reasonable prices. She is a creative and thoughtful problem solver and has great contacts in the home repair and renovation space. Shannon handled all the coordination and negotiating for us as well. I can't wait to start our next project with Shannon!

Shannon has a great mix of design, style and practicality. She partnered with me in my entryway, living room and dining room. She cover all aspects from design, to color scheme to furniture to accessories and even helped me secure pieces locally and have some custom made. Shannon has tremendous flair and I highly recommend working with her.
