Fiberspan Concrete Elements

An excellent product to replace aging and rotted Vigas. Our contractor who had installed many wood vigas was extremely impressed with the fiberspan vigas quality and ease of installation screwing on to the existing lag bolts. The fit up against the house was perfect. Phil was very responsive with any questions before ordering and they arrived promptly and well packaged. I would never consider wood vigas again and these look fantastic and will be permanent.

Fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about this product and the quality of the installation at my home in Tucson. I just had 23 rotting vigas replaced and the new vigas are amazing - even up close you cannot tell that they aren't wood. The ordering process was straightforward and the installation company in Tucson was fantastic - they completed the work in just under two days. They were meticulous and pleasant to work with.

We have a home in AZ but love the homes in Santa Fe NM. So we have been making it look like a Santa Fe by adding a multilevel wall with unique gates. The real improvement has been the Vigas that look like logs on the front of the house. The original ones we put up were real logs cut to 12" and attached with anchors but they eventually rotted from the inside and fell off one at a time. When I found the Fiber span web site and talked to Phil Bigelow about his product I knew it was exactly what I needed. He worked with me and delivered 1 unit to see how it would work out. It was perfect and he subsequently sent the other 12 units which I installed without a problem. I have a friend who bought the cheaper poly faux vigas and he is having a great deal of difficulty putting them up even though they are light weight. Their method of installing is not even close to Phil's and I wish him good luck. I will take Fiber Span any day. RF in AZ

We ordered custom FC viga tails from FCE to replace our rotting and falling real wood viga tails. Phil was very helpful over the phone and email in providing advice on the best replacement design and installation choices. The viga tails were made and shipped to our house within several weeks. The mounting plates and hardware that were included made them very easy and fast to install ourselves. The new viga tails look like real wood and abut seamlessly against the house stucco wall. We are very satisfied with FCE's excellent product and service!

The Vigas on our Arizona home were in bad shapes with dry rot and wood pecker damage. After doing some research online I ran across Fiberspan Concrete Elements. Their product looked great and seemed to be the answer to a low maintenance high quality replacement. After a call to Phil for a consult, I was convinced this was the right move. I ordered 8 custom vigas that were stained to match our existing wood trim. We received them in about 10 days. They were packed perfectly to ensure no damage in shipping. Phil even recommended an installer to get them attached to our adobe home. I couldn't be more pleased. They look great and I know that will last for many years to come with no maintenance. Fiberspan has done an excellent job for us at Tierra Concepts providing quality products. We always use their concrete canalies in place of traditional wood. They look great and they perform even better!
