After researching contractors, we chose Sennes Design for this project. We wanted to have an addition build that involved remodeling our third bedroom into a custom ensuite and closet.The window was carefully removed so it could be later relocated to the new edition while the window oppening was cut into a door leading into the edition, when completed this would create a second master bedroom. We added a hurricane proof sliding glass door leading onto additional lenai space that was also created.The wife and I were very pleased with the end result, so we asked Sennes Design to build a studio/office on the property. Again, the Sennes Design team created a beautiful space for us. We're considering adding an additional garage. If we do, we will be asking Sennes design to do this for us as well.

We had an excellent experience with the entire Sennes team! They remodeled our entire home following major flooding from the 2024 hurricanes and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. I particularly appreciated how patient and accommodating they were with us being remote and having to stay in touch over phone and email. We had numerous change orders come up during the process due to improvements that we had needed to make for multiple years and they did great with a constantly evolving scope of work. The timeline for the renovations was very fast especially once we figured out all of the design aspects across every room of the house. We were working under a constrained timeline near the end due to move-in and they were able to stage things to minimize the disruption and allow multiple activities to run in parallel. If we ever need more renovations or major changes to the house, we will definitely be giving Sennes a call back!

Sennes Design Build is a top notch, one of a kind, firm. They carefully examine what really needs to get done, and draw up a detailed proposal, far beyond anything we saw from other firms. Their evaluation of what's needed - and detailed pricing - allow an owner to evaluate what needs to be done, and will be done, knowing the "real" cost, not a "fake" cost that will inevitably increase, over and over again, as so often happens. We heartily recommend this firm.

We have worked with Nick for over a year on the design for a renovation of our historic (1926) home. As a result of his efforts we now have the construction permit and permission from the Historic Commission to begin the process to update and modernize our home in a way that stems from Nick’s original vision. Through our many interactions we have come to respect and admire the manner in which he does business. Nick is always professional and considerate of our time and ideas.
