About Us

Hester Painting & Decorating has been providing homes and commercial establishments with painting and decorating services since 1968. Family patriarch, Tom Hester, founded the company, wanting to be known as the “best painting contractor around. ” Now, after four decades and three generations dedicated to his goal, Hester Painting & Decorating recently received the Best of Houzz 2014 and 2015 and "Make It Better" magazine Best Painter 2013, 2014 and 2015. Our painters and supervisors also regularly attend seminars in order to keep up with the newest products and safety training. Hester Painting & Decorating provides distinctive finishes for walls, ceilings, doors, cabinets and furniture. From Venetian plaster to silver and gold leafing to crinkle paper, Hester applies an endless palette of faux and decorative finishes to create elegantly inspired rooms that clients often refer to as works of art. Hester Painting & Decorating boasts more than 60 skilled painters and craftsmen who provide interior and exterior painting, staining, faux and specialty installation, and cabinet and furniture refinishing. By instilling pride in our concept and services while providing year-round work to our painters, we retain the brightest and best painters in the industry.

Hester painting did a superior job that was completed on time and with extreme attention to detail. I can't recommend them enough. Jeff is so customer aware he answered an urgent email during his son's wedding reception. Now that's customer service!

Every Now and then, somebody rivals the Sistine Chapel, The work I've seen and reviewed from Hester Painting & Decorating has been so professionally that his work seem brand new, a few years back I contracted to do paint my house, with a lot of trim and some of my cedar had gotten holes by woodpecker drumming, the work was done professionally and cleanly with no visible damage, and a perfect spot on match! Somewhere Michelangelo is smiling.

We recently purchased and remodeled a twenty year old house. Hester Decorating was the single best contractor on the project. They arrived on time, ready to work and with a staff that knew what to do. The men were here for three weeks. Changes were made when asked, without drama. They worked until the job was complete; no interruptions and no lost days. Their work was impeccable. I would have them back anytime. They are highly recommended.

These people are consummate professionals. Jeff Hester came out to quote the job and immediately understood what I was trying to accomplish. He took my ideas the extra step with some great suggestions for finishes and colors. The job required scaffolding and the room was prepped far more efficiently than I have ever experienced. The team was a delight to have in our home for the week. They arrived on time each day- to the minute and left the room immaculate and traversable every night. They had wonderful and creative ideas regarding the smallest of details and the workmanship is superb. We hated to see them leave! It is a pity there aren't more stars to award them. This was an outstanding experience.

We have worked with Hester for over ten years. Most recently we had a steam leak right before Thanksgiving and we needed our entire living room repainted. They were extremely responsive -- they were able to get it done--able to rehang curtains and pictures. Their work is of the highest quality and the guys are great to have in the house.
