Working with amazing contractors that create by her design. I had a dream for something beautiful, Shoshi created beyond. Wanted to change the fireplace and got a masterpiece. Shoshi had so many amazing ideas, with different budgets and she knew how to adopt them to exactly what we wanted, even though she can elevate it higher. She adjusted herself to who we are and what we wanted. Helped with every step and everything required. Every small detail, every color adjustment until we had our dream under our budget. We hired Shoshi last year to work on a remodel of our 1960s split level, this was a very complicated job with lots of moving parts. Shoshi was able to help us modernize our home while keeping to the original aesthetic and eclectic tastes. We did not want to remodel for its resale value but rather make a home that creates a warm, fun, and modern look. Shoshi was able to help mediate between our strong opinions and enhance our vision. From the initial 30 minute consultation I knew I wanted to work with Shoshi. She was able to understand my frustration and dislike of the main level of our tri-level home, while giving me hope that it could look amazing. With Shoshi’s eye for possibilities we ended up removing walls and going to an open floor plan that has made the house so much brighter and inviting. Every step of the way Shoshi was able to answer any questions I had as well as provide computer sketches of how things would look. Throughout working with Shoshi I felt like I got exactly what I didn’t know I wanted. I was just amazed how things I didn’t think would match all look perfect together! I really appreciated how Shoshi was respectful of our budget, but did not let that compromise the finished project. Its been several months and I have no regrets. I love the main level of our house now.

We chose Shoshi for our kitchen remodel because she was the only designer we interviewed who didn’t come over as a “yes man.” Time and time again she has demonstrated her knowledge, skills and worth, often through amazing communication, drawing skills and 3D CAD skills to illustrate her points. She quickly and effectively convinced me I was wrong on many occasions, and got me equally enthusiastic about her superior solutions. I was truly impressed. Another unique thing about Shoshi is she interviewed us about how we work in the kitchen to design around our workflow. No one else did that. Our entire kitchen design is based around how I tend to hold court and entertain our guests in the kitchen at the same time as food prepping, while my spouse wants to be able to cook at the range, with his back to our guests, and focus. With Shoshi’s design, the kitchen island is my domain and workspace, while he gets an entire wall with the range, a second small sink, and plenty of his own countertop. Shoshi also effectively helped reduce the stress levels of our renovation on countless occasions, including shopping trips and during marital disagreements on decisions. Shoshi got to know us and our aesthetic preferences extremely well. After hours of pendant light shopping on our own to absolutely no avail, she was able to suggest a designer range off the cuff, which we fell head over heels in love with. Similarly, after many, many hours hunting for the perfect dining table on our own, we asked her for help. She designed us a custom dining table with a local woodworker which was so perfect for us, we accepted the first design with no revisions. It is by far our favorite possession now. Finally, as international people, we appreciated Shoshi’s international perspective and knowledge about practices and standards in other markets. We highly recommend Shoshi because she gets close to her clients and works very well in collaboration with them, and does her best to get you the right solution for your needs.

I live in a 1970's split level house that was in need of some refreshing. I engaged Shoshi to help with some small projects: choose an exterior paint color in conjunction with a total exterior renovation, update my living room (begone mirror wall!), and replace the flooring in the majority of the house. Shoshi has a strong vision for the overall look of the space being remodeled. This showed in the color of the luxury vinyl plank we selected to use throughout the house, as well as how the various living room furnishings, from furniture down to pillows and artwork, combined to make a warm, inviting space. We could not have chosen a more perfect exterior paint color, and her suggestions for house numbers and light fixtures were spot on, coordinating perfectly with the garage and front doors I had chosen. One of the benefits of working with Shoshi is her network of contacts. The contractor she procured was amazing, and the flooring specialist and installer are people I would use again. I really enjoyed working with Shoshi and look forward to collaborating with her on future projects.

We found Shoshi on Houzz for a small project, converting a useless front closet into a cool dry bar. She was so helpful, had a great vision, was communicative and responsive and managed the entire project from start to finish! Best of all she was decisive and really helped us make tricky decisions and deal with some unexpected challenges, as is always the case. She visited often and kept the contractors moving forward and on track! Shoshi was great and I've already recommended her to a colleague and will use her again!

Shoshi was our third designer who we met and worked with. I wish we met her at the beginning. She helped us to finish our already started project. Shoshi is very good listener and prompt in communicating. She provided us with creative solution to our corky 1950s house. I also really appreciate her practical design for our family with 2 small children. It was one of our goals to make space work for adults and kids, but not compromise on aesthetics. We started our project remotely and when planning phase was done, she came and made sure everything is according to our plan before starting construction. She designed for us custom pieces. She is very easy to work with and also can work with any budget and always finds alternatives to get to the desired final look. I would recommend her to anyone and would love to work with her again if any new projects in the future.

We used Shoshi designs for our living room remodel bit more than a year ago! Shoshi was overall great to work with. She listened to our ideas and requirements, iterated on the proposal few times until we liked it, got the job done to our satisfaction on time. A year later, no buyer's remorse and really happy to have worked with Shoshi to get our remodel done. I have been working with Shoshi for almost a year on several projects. Started with my dark living room then moved to brighten up the kitchen also. I hired Shoshi as my interior designer for a small remodel of a bonus room plus sprucing up the dining room and living room with new furniture and color. Although we were on a small budget, the results were fabulous. Shoshi was very demanding yet professional and caring all at the same time. She was always a phone call or text message away. Of course there is more that we can do, but we will save that for next time. De-cluttering and opening up the space made me and my wife very happy. This project was for our 10 year anniversary celebration!

Shoshi helped us with designing our new house. The house was in overall good condition and move-in-ready, but not to our liking and taste. She helped us pick out and design the fireplace, hand-railing for the staircase, vanity cabinet for the master bathroom, all of the rugs in the house and some of the decorations. We were very content and happy with the final outcome. Shoshi is very professional, patient and hard working, and invested a considerable amount of time and effort to get things just right.
