My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Then observation and relationship begin to paint a picture in our own minds that begins to capture something of who that person is. I had the privilege of working with Amy Slaughter and her team on the 2017 Texas Monthly Show Home at Boot Ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas. As the developer we had an aggressive budget, a tight timeline, and wanted to showcase what affluent Texas Hill Country buyers were looking for in a model home that would serve us for about 2 years. The result is gorgeous and breaks with the dark-leathery-masculine stereotype of ranch-style living. Thousands have toured this home and everyone loves its palette, comfort and total lack of matchy-matchy solutions. Amy has style, taste and is fun to work with. Two thumbs up

Amy Slaughter is the most talented, efficient and creative designer I have ever worked with. I have built 5 houses and she has helped me with two. My husband and I have highly recommended Amy to many people. Most of them hired her. All have said that employing Amy early in the design process saved them money and from making mistakes. I have great admiration for her as a person and respect for her talent.
