My daughter bought my wife for Christmas 2020 a SMEG teapot. About six weeks ago she tried to boil water in it and nothing happened. We plugged it in several outlets though out the house did not work. I then contacted the people who service their products and they are giving us the runaround. They are saying they are swamped with out customers with problems. This teapot is about two years old and just died. Over 50 years of marriage we have had other small appliances for decades.
