RS Kitchen & Bath just finished a remodel of my kitchen, master bath and pantry, along with a dining room hutch. I choose to work with Neal Smith because of previous knowledge of work he had done, and after meeting with him, and touring his manufacturing facility, I realized his commitment to excellence and making sure his customers are happy was the kind of supplier I wanted to work with, and I was not disappointed! It was an excellent experience, and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Neal is a pro who does everything he can to make sure his customer understand the process and what they want, and then makes sure they get it. He was available any time I asked to meet with him, and spent all the time I needed making sure I had door samples, stain mix samples, reeding samples, etc., and that I was happy with all of them. His team custom built my range hood from design concept to a finished product and it is beautiful! We added metal mesh to the hutch doors and made it unique and one of a kind. Neal will work with you to make your ideas and designs come alive. I cannot say enough about his install team, and his lead, John. They were punctual, professional, and paid attention to the tiniest of details. I am a very detailed oriented person, and they listened to my needs and made sure they were taken care of. I would highly recommend Neal and his team, without hesitation, for your cabinet needs.

RS Kitchen and Bath did a fantastic job with our Laundry Cabinet. They helped design it, made suggestions on the type of wood, hardware, and cabinet design to maximize organization and storage space. They built in a small freezer, two pull-out laundry baskets, and a cabinet with two pull out drawers to store laundry detergents and supplies. It’s absolutely beautiful and my favorite room in the house! They were very professional from design through installation. The build time was kind of long, but it was well worth the wait. We had a small issue with one of the soft-close drawers and they came out to service it with no hassles. They stand behind their work and its very well built! They would be our first call if we wanted another built-in cabinet.

Great experience from start to finish! The owner, Neal, and his son JR, are such talented professionals and even better, they are just great human beings! My kitchen renovation was a total gut which I did with no architect or kitchen planner so there were MANY changes along the way. They were so patient with me, available to meet as needed, and offered incredible ideas and designs. I had an inspiration photo for one particular section of cabinetry which they recreated and it is absolutely stunning! My entire kitchen is absolutely gorgeous, top quality, semi-custom and custom! They can make your visions come true and ease your stress as well because they are just a pleasure to work with from first meeting through post-installation!

From design to the final installation, the job was beautiful and the process of picking out materials and designing the custom cabinets was smooth. The cabinets were a bit delayed on installation which caused us some delay on finalizing the project but that is to be expected when so many contractors are involved. Our custom master bathroom cabinets from Raymond Smith's Cabinets look great and are well built. The color & finish looks really good, and the measurements are right on as it fit into space perfectly and matched the design documents. All the standard features were included on these L arranged cabinets, with linen closet in corner between his & her sink cabinets. A key for us was making as much storage space available as possible, which included on center linen closet - extending all the way to 9' ceiling, extending upper shelfs all the way back to wall corner, and extending bottom drawers as far back as possible. Also, on his & her cabinets they were extended back to corner where they meet the center linen cabinet, for extra storage under sink. The install team was very good – they were on time, they were respectful to us, was careful in house, and did a great job installing the cabinets. All in all - a very good experience from start to finish.

My wife and I would highly recommend Raymond Smith's cabinet shop. Earlier this year we had a burst water pipe which ruined our existing kitchen cabinets. We began the process to find new cabinets by visiting the "big box" stores. We worked with their designers and got prices for the cabinets - material only. We would need hire a carpenter to install them. We were very fortunate to receive a recommendation on cabinets from Raymond Smith's. We called and spoke to Neal Smith. He came over to the house took pictures, made measurements and discussed preliminary designs with us. For the next step we met with Neal at their shop. Neal had converted our discussion into designs on the computer. We reviewed the initial design and made some modifications which he updated on the computer. He then explained the options for the cabinets and showed us the prices for them including installation. We found that we could have "custom made" high quality ( 3/4 inch plywood, soft close on all doors & drawers, special pull outs, super susans etc ) including installation for the same price as those at the the big box stores. We met with Neal Smith several more times to further refine the design, the hardware, the door and drawer styles, the stain and finish and the crown moldings. We got exactly what we wanted. For the installation Neal sent a crew of 4 people including the person who built the cabinets. It looked like a scene right out of " THIS OLD HOUSE ". They had all the tools and equipment. Older homes like ours are not completely " square " or " level ". No problem for the installers. They did a great job of installing the cabinets, the finish pieces, and the mouldings. They also did a good job of cleaning up. There was a small issue with one of the lazy susans. The installers pointed it out to us. It wasn't going to work the way we thought. No problem. The installers removed it and ordered a different one. Two days later one of the installers returned and installed the new one. This really confirmed our thoughts that working with a local business was a really good idea. We could not be more pleased with our new cabinets, and Raymond Smith's Cabinets.

Some of the cabinetry in our 20 year old home needed reconfiguring for the media and appliances of today. Neil Smith and crew replaced the central section of the wall to wall /floor to ceiling cabinetry in our den to accommodate currrent media components and a section of a kitchen wall cabinet to better accommodate a microwave oven. His expertise and skill from the planning stage to the construction and installation produced superb results. In both the den and kitchen the integration of the new sections is flawless. The design not only accomplished the original goals, but also included improvement in the overall utility of the sections he redid. Neil is honest, easy to work with, and highly skilled. He gets my highest recommendation, and in fact he's already working on my next project.

Before hiring Raymond Smith's Cabinet Shop to build our kitchen cabinets, family room bookcases and mantle, and bathroom vanities, I shopped every cabinet business I could find in our vacinity. I visited beautiful showrooms but could not find anyone who could provide everything I wanted at an affordable price. Most would not discuss budget without visiting our house even though I had blueprints in hand. Then I found Raymond Smith's Cabinet Shop. I met with Neil Smith several times with pictures cut from magazines and Neil designed the kitchen of my dreams. I got everything I wanted, just the way I wanted it, and a few extra things I didn't know I wanted because I didn't know they existed. The workmanship is impeccable and the design is beautiful. Everyone working for this company was always polite and pleasant. Each time we parted Neil always said, "I appreciate this opportunity." One year after having our cabinets installed we contracted with Neil again to build bookcases in our home office. The bookcases perfectly match what they had done before and again, was designed from photos I cut from magazines. The price of our custom built cabinets from Raymond Smith's Cabinet Shop were equal to and sometimes better than prices we obtained from other supposedly custom built cabinet shops which really only meant combining pre-built units any way you want them. We were able to choose the wood, the thickness, the finish (which looks like fine furniture), the hardware, and the design and it was all built at the shop. The drawers are built to last a lifetime and are still working the same way they did the day they were installed. I highly recommend this company and they will remain my only choice if I ever need more cabinets.

Was able to change specs and show results by using CAD software - gave us a wonderful view of changes and options to help decision making. Method of pricing was easy to accept, providing many options within price point without every decision costing an incremental amount.

We hired Neal and Raymond Smith's Cabinet Shop to do our kitchen and laundry room design and all the cabinets. Neal was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He is the most patient and kind person to work with. His cabinets were spectacular with excellent quality and workmanship throughout. He spent many hours with us trying to come up with the best design. He knew how to utilize every space.He gave us great input as my husband and I were so pleased with the finished product. The cabinets and their color looked so professional in every way. My husband just smiles when I keep telling him how much I love our kitchen, I am so glad we had Neal do the work!!!

Throughout the past 10 years we have continued to use Raymond Smith Cabinets for all of our remodeling projects. Their construction and attention to detail is second to none and the fit and finish of their product is outstanding. We visited the factory and witnessed first hand the construction and assembly of our cabinets. They are heavy, solid and will last a lifetime. Neil made the whole process so simple beginning from the design phase throughout the construction to the installation. We had a few minor trim issues that were immediately resolved with no questions asked, other than what day can we come over! We especially liked the hard woods used in the construction, dovetail design, easy close sliders, and the stain/finish selections. Yes you can go to the big box home improvement stores and order cabinets that may cost less, but believe me they are not the same and are not built to these specs. I would highly recommend this company. I wanted a built in desk taken out of my kitchen and a custom china cabinet to be built in it's place. We went to the shop and Neal Smith helped us design a china cabinet with the exact features we wanted in it. He did a great job designing it on the computer so he could show us a drawing of what it would look like. He has endless options of finishes and trim work. The quality of the finished china cabinet exceeded our expectations. They are so easy to work with and they strive to make sure the customer is 100% happy with the product. I love my new cabinet and if I ever need anything else done in the future I would use them again.
