OUTSTANDING! Sommer came in and designed everything above and beyond our expectations, we were so lost not knowing how to proceed. Sommer arranged everything from design to tear down and construction to completed project. Highly recommend her!!! The Sun Room was a mess -cement floor mismatched wall panels and trim no lights no fan and most of all the sagging ceiling. Now look that natural wood ceiling AMAZING these tiles the walls and now insulation it is pleasant to be in there! No more too cold or too hot - just PERFECT!!!!!! She also made us a street number sign and a jewelry rack from the walls that were removed so original broken parts made into memorable keep sakes........here talent is far above anyone we have worked with before. Basically, our whole house was designed and set up from furniture, oh yea she made custom art works featuring our dogs so sweet in vintage style that we love. I can't say enough we are so happy we hired her, and every project we need for now on will go to her and we will recommend Sommer to everyone we meet.

I worked with Sommer to paint and fully furnish the interior of our 3-bedroom house in the sand section of Manhattan Beach. I cannot recommend Sommer highly enough. She created a beautiful, relaxing space that accommodated our personal preferences and shined due to her vision and creativity. Sommer is notably resourceful; she is highly sensitive to budget constraints; she provides very clear communication; and she is wickedly attentive to detail, identifying and resolving problems before you know it. I strongly encourage you to speak with her regarding your next project.

Sommer was the best designer and assistant I could have ever had. She helped me with every aspect of the project (which was pretty big). Additionally, she got along so well with my contractor which as first he was very leery with working with a designer but afterwards he thanked me profusely because she helped with all the details and made his life so much easier. She has great taste but was open to my opinion. I highly recommend her.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Sommer on creating the interior for an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. From start to finish, she demonstrated exceptional skill, creativity, and professionalism. Sommer took care of every detail, from selecting the perfect lighting fixtures, tile, faucets, and vanity to choosing furniture and decorations. She had creative solutions and helped us maximize the use of our space. One of the highlights of the project was her thoughtful selection and arrangement of wall art and family pictures. She took the time to understand our personal style and preferences to create a multifunctional and usable space. Throughout the entire process, Sommer was incredibly communicative and responsive. We are an extremely busy family and she managed to keep us on track, while coordinating with a contractor. We highly recommend Sommer to anyone looking for a talented and dedicated interior designer.

Sommer is incredible. She not only has an amazing eye, she is able to see what a space could be and how to use it efficiently. I personally like elements from various types of design, and while I thought I was being confusing in communicating what I wanted, she completely understood and could adapt and help me hone in on my exact design preference. So many designers I believe are pigeonholed in one look, so that was huge for me. She is also great at high / low. We shopped high for key elements and filled in low. So staying in budget was also met. Can’t recommend her enough.

Loved working with Sommer. She is creative and listens to her customers and always offers various suggestions to implement a plan along with visual boards of the suggested layout of a project including but not exclusive to paint colors, fabrics, furniture etc. She is easy to work with and has a knack for listening to the customer and adjusting to the feedback so that her projects are always a collaborative endeavor…

I am absolutely delighted with the refresh of my bathroom! Sommer brought a level of thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and creativity that exceeded all my expectations. We hired Sommer Mark to help us plan out, design, decorate and choose furniture for our new home that we were remodeling. From the beginning she was extremely helpful - her initial consult while free, added a ton of ideas and her floor plans were able to perfectly capture exactly what my wife and I both wanted. She helped us choose everything from paint to tile to countertops and tied it all in perfectly with the furniture and overall aesthetic of our home. She put together a beautiful nursery for our upcoming daughter, and was able maximize some pretty small spaces in our home with creative ideas. She was even conscious of our budget when choosing furniture which was extremely helpful. Throughout the entire process she was highly communicative, and definitely gave us more than we paid for in terms of her valuable time and expertise. We will work with her again when it comes time to remodel our next home!

I can’t say enough positive things about Sommer. The transformation she made out of my guest bedroom and master were beyond anything I could have imagined. She was so easy and delightful to work with, she put me at ease and was extremely patient with me as I couldn’t relate to her what I wanted or even make up my mind. She went out of her way to simplify things and asked me the right questions to help me decide on items for my home makeover. And she has an amazing talent with painting!! I have had other designers that were far more expensive, and not even a quarter of the talent Sommer has. I was incredible lucky to meet her when I did.
