We had a few antique pieces that I needed to keep and she worked around those and made everything fit in together. Sophia was an integral part in making my kitchen renovation a smooth and stress free process. Sophia worked with my wife and I on two projects. The first was kitchen remodel and, a few years later, a remodel of our two bathrooms. We intend to live in this house for decades to come so it was important to us to pick a timeless design. We only want to remodel once! :) Sophia helped us to select materials and patterns that matched our classic style. In addition, she integrated shower niche tile pattern that my wife created. Sophia has great contacts with local suppliers and was able to secure some big discounts. Finally, she works with contractors who share her eye for design and pay attention to the small details.

We can’t say enough about the amazing rebirth of 1920’s bungalow that Sophia redesigned!! To say that our sweet home needed an update is an understatement! With only 931 square feet to work with, she reimagined the entire space by opening up the living room wall to the kitchen, making the space look so so much bigger and inviting. The kitchen is now chic, yet does not disrespect the character of the original architecture. Now our luxury bathroom, well, it’s a dream space. Sophia was constant in the entire process. It is very evident she puts her heart and soul into a project not only because this is her bread and butter, but because this IS her passion. She gave such great advice when we requested certain concepts and made sure that each idea was brought to its best outcome. Her eye for design is impeccable and we are forever grateful that our home was elevated to a level we could have never imagined! With Sophia, you will not be disappointed!

Sophia assisted me with multiple projects in my home in the Oakland Hills. Our last project was painting the exterior of our home. We reviewed approximately 15 color swatches, and paint samples on the exterior walls of the building. Sophia suggested that the new exterior color should compliment the roof tile colors and it worked out perfectly. We also changed out all the exterior light fixtures and repainted the railings on the front porch and deck. When completed the exterior of our home is beautiful. Thank you Sophia.

She helped me with paint colors for my kitchen as well as with the remodel of a small bathroom, and her assistance was invaluable on both projects. She is very quick to respond to messages. I was referred to Sophia Solomon through a member of our temple. I had never worked with a designer before, but Sophia really took care of us and the results are great. We're all so happy with our new kitchen! Sophia started the process by asking us to provide images of things that we liked, which seemed to really help the process. We just had to pleasure of working with Sophia on a huge renovation! She helped us every step of the way with our completely new kitchen/ living room. We first met with her to share our vision and she came back to us with beautiful design ideas and this gorgeous vision board that we will keep. My partner and I really enjoyed working with Sophia on our Oakland kitchen-dining room remodel. We could not be happier with her services and the end result! Sophia helped us with two projects. A few years back, she played an integral part in pushing us to choose our fabulous white kitchen with light green island. I hesitated with white kitchen because it's so hard to maintain. However, I'm so glad I listened to her because our kitchen is envied by neighbors and family members. Desperate to organize my home, I asked Sophia for advice. I wasn't looking for a remodel but I knew I wasn't using my kitchen and living areas efficiently or effectively. Things were just a mess, crowded, disorganized, and it made me unhappy just to be in my house, which was rather unfortunate. It was amazing how quickly Sophia was able to size up the situation and give me a list of suggestions to reorganize my life without having to undertake a significant project. Now things are stored more efficiently, the dining room table is rotated 90 degrees, giving the room more usable space. I did buy a new mail caddy, but that means my entire materials budget was $20 and I can live with that. I try not to dwell on the time I lived in the house before Sophia came to sort me out.
