We have worked with SuAnne Smith of Sorento Design on several projects over many years. She is one of the nicest people we have ever worked with and are truly grateful to know her. She is also a very talented interior designer. Always very professional and complete in her orders. My husband, Ty Loyola, builds custom furniture. Working with SuAnne is an easy process and always a pleasure. Her designers are creative, unique and customized to a wide variety of clients and projects.

She rescued our sizable remodel, which included a large kitchen, butler's pantry, dining and living room. Her eye for color, ability to gently guide us and her overall great demeanor made SuAnne a joy to work with. We LOVE the final product! Feel like we live in a comfortable Architectural Digest worthy setting. Everything just came together.

SuAnne Smith of Sorento Design has done the complete interior design for two of my homes. The first project was our second home in Park City, Utah where we purchased a newly constructed house and I hired SuAnne to do turn-key interior design. We did everything virtually via email and phone and when our family arrived to our new home the day before Christmas, we walked into a magnificently deocrated house, with a lit Christmas tree, music playing and cabinets completely organized, and SuAnne and I met in person for the first time. SuAnne achieved the cozy, warm, and sophisticated mountain home we dreamed of. Three years later we moved from the Maryland suburbs to Washington, D.C., purchasing an 80 year old Beau Arts house in an historic neighborhood. SuAnne flew to DC to spend a day to see the empty house in July and when we moved into the home in late October, the entire 7000 square foot house was completely furnished, much of it having been handmade by her furniture makers in Utah and shipped to DC (at a cost no more than you would typcially pay at Restoration Hardware or the like!). Our new home is elegant and sophisticated, but at the same time warm and cozy. Anyone that visits our home is in awe and asks us who decorated it. The two very different types of homes designed for us by SuAnne are a testament to her ability to do any type of project, whether a mountain home, city home, or anything else. SuAnne not only has a natural talent and eye for design, she is fair, conscious of how to get the most for the dollars (where to spend and where to cut), completely open and honest, will do anything to ensure your complete satisfaction, and on top of that, is a wonderful, sincere , unpretentious, and good-hearted person that is an absolute delight to work with.

We built a new home and every aspect from wall colors to interior colors, furniture, paintings, light fixtures, custom built furniture,rugs, tile work, etc, was orchestrated by them. The home turned out beautifully and was within the scope of everything we had ask for. I will use them again if we should build again.
