Could not recommend John more! I interviewed 5-6 architects in Portland and none compared. John has an amazing attention to detail and supported us throughout the process of renovating our bathroom. He also gave the best price quote! John is extremely knowledgeable and gave us great options within our budget. He made the stressful process so much easier!

John helped us design a bookcase for a really complicated space in our home. He returned several designs that made it possible for us to hone in on the style we wanted and went above and beyond to make changes as we got closer to engaging a contractor. Thanks, JOhn!

We have a 1920’s tudor-style home in Nashville with a 1920’s-style basement. The floor was a mix of dirt and rock and the original cedar posts were still in place supporting the structure. We knew we wanted to update the basement, but didn’t really know what we wanted to do. We met with John to walk through the space and talk about various ideas. John listened. He took time to ask us questions and helped us verbally-illustrate the goals of our initial design. At the same time, he was already thinking about natural light, flow through the rooms, and the structural feasibility. John provided models faster than expected that allowed us to further refine our design and accomplish our goals. We highly recommend John for any architect project.

We had a most wonderful experience working with spacehouse! Our architect was quickly able to turn a myriad of ideas into a beautifully designed set of renderings and drawings. The 3-D modeling was tremendously helpful for visualizing the space and exploring design choices. We would highly recommend spacehouse for their great expertise and experience, patience, and for the close attention to our preferred thoughts and wishes to create a space better than we ever could have visualized!

Our experience working with John was one of great satisfaction. As my husband and I started discussing downsizing from the big family home to something smaller, one floor and the needs desired as we get older, we enlisted John to pull together plans for that vision when we retire. John’s work ethic is amazing and one that shows via the design he translates into workable plans. He is attentive, open and honest and we highly recommend him for your next project.
