We hired Stanley B. McDaniel Construction & Roofing for two separate projects and could not be more impressed with their professionalism and expertise. The first project was an emergency repair on our main house during a week of heavy rain. Despite being scheduled to go out of town, Stan came over personally to inspect a cracked tile that was causing a leak in our bedroom. He provided a fair quote and installed a temporary tarp to prevent further damage until he returned. He fixed the issue immediately upon his return, matching our existing tiles perfectly. For the second project, Stan and his son Ryan performed a complete tear-off and re-roof on our guest studio. They were incredibly thorough—cutting back dry-rotted overhangs, replacing fascia boards, and swapping out three sections of damaged plywood before installing Malarkey Highlander shingles. They handled all the permits and did a spotless job with the site clean-up. Stan and Ryan are personable, knowledgeable, and extremely respectful of the property. In 2010, my wife and I purchased a new home in Paradise, CA that was built by Mr. Stanley McDaniel. The craftsmanship was impeccable along with gorgeous design elements and particular attention being paid to details and finishing work. Immediately after our purchase of the home, we hired Mr. McDaniel to expand our deck, add a large car port, modify some cabinets and to upgrade the garage for use as my home wood shop. I am delighted to report that in addition to Mr. McDaniel conducting the upgrades on-time and on-budget, the projects were completed in a very high quality manner combined with a flawless integration with the existing structure. I bought a home with a lot of quirks in the design as well as some structural defects that needed to be addressed. Stan knew exactly what to do in all scenarios. I told him what I would like to see done design wise and if he didn't like the idea he always would suggest something that would look better. We took out walls and removed one fireplace and remodeled another, we added all new h/w flooring throughout as well as adding a new covered patio to match the exterior of the house out the back. He also oversaw the installation and landscaping of a new swimming pool. I never had to question anything he did - the quality of his workmanship was exceptional. As far as hiring a few subcontractors he knew exactly who to hire and who NOT to hire. Everyone working on this project was clean, neat, respectful and honest - I never had to question the character of anyone he had working here. Stan is honest and hardworking and extremely knowledgeable in his trade. We are so glad we hired him and we look forward to doing more remodel work with him next year.

We hired Stan to help us with the fixer-upper we had just purchased. He replaced the roof, porch, siding, and windows on our 2 story home. When the siding came off, there was more damaged than we had anticipated. Stan and his crew got the job done, were friendly, clean and competent. He finished with in the timeline and even with the unexpected damaged, the price matched his quote. I couldn't recommend Stan any higher. He is excellent. I would hire him again in a heart beat!
