Star Painters just did a fantastic job painting the downstairs of our house which was the icing on the cake after a full kitchen remodel. I cant believe how much the painting and all new colors enhanced the whole space. Demir and his team are excellent! I highly recommend them and would definitely have them back when the need arises, like when we paint the upstairs. All of the staff are extremely professional, they arrived on time every day and worked til 5 every day as well! They were meticulous in all aspects and always cleaned up and vacuumed every day before leaving! In addition to painting the walls, they painted all the trim, ceilings, doors and hallways which made everything really 'pop'. You will get the quality you are looking for with Star Painters!

Came out, seemed nice enough and agreed to do the job. He asked for cash and never gave us the proposal we asked for. So either the job was too small or he’s not claiming taxes. Ask questions before you hire him!

Star Painters prepared and painted my cottage on Cedar Island in Clinton CT. The building is old and had not been painted for many years, requiring a great deal of surface prep and caulking. The house is sided with cedar shake and has pine trim. Many shakes had to be nailed and everything had to be scraped or sanded. There is no road to the site and all materials and staff have to travel by (my) boat. Although they had over an hour commute through New Haven traffic, they were only late by a half hour on two of the 10 days the job took. The project came out exactly as I expected, and was completed on-budget and on-time. Demir painted my house in Killingworth 8 years ago as well as my son's house in Madison 7 years ago, and they also came out great. Demir is on site on most days and demonstrates great attention to detail. He brought a carpenter one day to replace wood trim with PVC foam, and this guy also did a good job. I would highly recommend Demir and his team at Star Painters.

I have had the good luck to work with Demir and his Star Painters team for 10 years. They have painted the exterior siding and trim of my house several times, and just completed another power wash/sealing of my cedar deck. Along with that seasonal maintenance, they replace the few rotting deck boards with skills comparable to my original builder’s. Demir is not only a consummate professional in his attention to detail and respect for his customers, but through his personal character and quality of work he shows that he genuinely cares about the projects he undertakes. He is also adept at the art of a variety of wall finishes including faux and venetian plasters etc. Cannot recommend him enough!

Star Painters/Demir painted our kitchen cabinets. They did a fantastic job and we are extremely happy with their work. Demir is excellent to work with; he explains everything thoroughly. Their work was excellent; they were extremely neat and meticulous in ensuring the painting was done properly. They finished the job in the timeframe they promised. Excellent job all around.

I have an old farm house in Simsbury that needed a full exterior paint. Matching previous colors was a breeze. Demir and his staff were a pleasure to work with and arrived on the job as indicated. Quote process and communication thorough. Scheduling of the project and time frame right on the money. Minor slat repair completed so I did not have to find another contractor.
