We are thrilled with how our kitchen, family room and powder room renovation look! Stephanie Laney did a phenomenal job from start to finish. She started the project by figuring out what our style was—she took care to make sure the project was a reflection of our taste and style, not hers. She then helped us make choices for the materials: paint colour for the cabinets, counter slab, backsplash, lighting, kitchen hardware, etc. I never felt overwhelmed. It was a seamless, non-stressful experience. The contractors she uses are top-notch tradespeople. Stephanie took care of all the scheduling and communication with the work teams, which also made the experience efficient, with minimal disruption. Not only does Stephanie have good design sense, but she also exhibits a level of professionalism that is second-to-none. Even for a smaller-scale job like ours, she provided an exceptional level of service. I had stated from the outset that we had a tight budget to work with, she worked conscientiously to ensure we came within budget. I can’t say enough about how much we LOVE our new kitchen, family room and powder room! What a difference it makes to how much more enjoyment we are getting out of our home. Thank you Stephanie!

Stephanie Laney is awesome and amazing! We don't do a lot of reviews for folks (we should do more), it takes a lot to move us to review and in fact this is our very first review on Houzz. The reason Stephanie is worth spending time on is because she really cares about her clients and projects. We came to Surfaces USA looking for tile ideas regarding our master bathroom remodel and within an hour came away with the finished look including walls, flooring, paint colors, hardware, the lot! We gave her a rough idea of what we wanted and she immediately got it, suggesting the perfect solutions straightaway. We were so happy with how it turned out that we returned to her when it was time to remodel our 2nd bathroom, and choose house exterior paint colors and patio paving stones. We couldn't be happier with how everything came out. Stephanie is easy and fun to work with. She gets where you're coming from extremely quickly, has a ton of experience and provides great ideas that we never would have arrived at on our own. She's professional, never missed a deadline and, most importantly, worked within our budget and never tried to up-sell us. We will definitely be using her again in the future with whatever design project comes up and we suggest you do too! At least go and meet her without expectations and see if she is the right fit for you and your project. We have every confidence that she will be.

I have been working with Stephanie to remodel my home for some time now. At first I thought it was hard to start such a huge project because I have seven bathrooms, kitchen, entrance, living, and dining room to remodel, but Stephanie was so helpful and trustworthy. She came to my house many times, got to know what I and all my family members liked for each bathroom and designed every bathroom for everyone's individual taste. They are all on imaginably beautiful- something I couldn't even dream of! She also worked tirelessly with my husband and I to design our marble flooring for the entrance, living room, dining room, and kitchen. She also gave great input on how we could redesign the kitchen and I can't wait until it's finished! She is a pleasure to work with and always goes above and beyond expectations. She takes so much of her personal time to keep in touch and is always accessible. She's all about bringing every vision we've had to life. Our flooring and all the bathrooms are almost finished and I am looking forward to working with Stephanie again to remodel my kitchen! Take my advice and hire Stephanie for your next project. We loved our experience with Surfaces, especially Stephanie Laney who was our design consultant there. We went in overwhelmed with a lot of different ideas of style and surfaces we'd like to use. Laney so quickly and effectively helped us narrow in on ideas that would work together, meet our budget and end up looking truly integrated, elegant and true to the mid century modern style we hoped to achieve. She went above and beyond to find us one piece that wasn't working, eventually finding JUST the right tile. We shopped around and were surprised at how on par Surfaces prices were, given the quality of design help we received. We recommend the whole experience highly!
