Stephanie was exceptional from the start of our project to the very end. We added a laundry room, bedroom, and bathroom to our existing 1919 craftsmen. Her design and expertise helped us maintain the craftsmen details throughout the entirety of our home. She was essential in guiding us through both the historic and city permit process. We hired Osorio Architecture to help us initiate "aging in place" modifications to our house. Our project merged two bathrooms into one space resulting in: 1) room for an all-in-one washer dryer combo in the house [no more doing laundry in the garage] and 2) a beautiful roll in shower. Of course, ample storage for bathroom linens and other supplies was included. Stephanie was great to work with. She listened carefully to us and asked many questions to ascertain what we wanted and needed. Follow up was very timely, and the process of reviewing drawings and requesting changes was very smooth and stress-free. We also appreciated her leading meetings with the builder. Stephanie was professional, incredibly attentive to detail, and meticulous at getting the designs just right for our project. She faced down the HPOZ board armed with research and ready to answer all their questions. Crafting the perfect design was definitely a group project between Stephanie, myself, and my spouse. Stephanie was the ideal partner - she always showed up prepared, having done extra reading beyond what was required, and she communicated expectations and upcoming deadlines clearly. Stephanie also struck a good balance between offering her wisdom and listening to our (quirky) preferences. Once construction started, she was firm with the contractors about placement of outlets and other small but important details that I would not have noticed until it was too late to adjust them. I cannot recommend Stephanie highly enough.

The process of designing and submitting plans for our ADU project was a breeze thanks to Stephanie of Osorio Architecture. She provided fresh ideas and was able to creatively navigate the challenges of building a beautiful and functional studio. Stephanie converted a 160sqft bike shed into a spectacular light-filled 234sqft home- complete with washer/dryer, dishwasher and full sized bathroom. Whole-heartedly recommend without question!

This is a long overdue review of Osorio Architecture and our experience working with Stephanie. We were referred to Stephanie from our Interior Designer and are so very, very grateful and fortunate that we were. Stephanie is personable and takes her job seriously, she simply wants to do a very good job and truly cares that you are happy. The job of an architect isn’t easy especially for a couple like us that had our entire home remodeled and there was a permit process. Stephanie understood what was needed and diligently walked us through it. We also saw her in action with the electrician ensuring that the work was done as indicated on the construction documents that she drew up. Stephanie definitely understands the importance of her role and sometimes it may seem like she wants to “go by the book” but I cannot tell you how valuable that is because you gain a very good understanding of the pros and cons of any decision and she wants you to understand that before final decisions are made. And, along the way, Stephanie is personable, and such a delight to work with. She has great follow-up and follow-through and is very efficient in her work. We really enjoyed Stephanie so much throughout the process and grew to really respect her honesty, integrity and loved her bubbly personality. The project is over now and we miss the interaction with Stephanie. I trust that anyone one working with Stephanie will enjoy the same great experience that we had. I am so happy with Stephanie Osorio and her architecture firm. I am not an experienced home renovator, but I was absolutely able to rely on Stephanie for guidance and direction. She was the perfect fit for me and my Accessory Dwelling Unit project. She listened to my needs and had such creative ideas to make them into reality. She worked directly with the city to answer questions and with my contractor to manage any areas that had potential to be problematic. I was so impressed by her calm demeanor and easy style. Stephanie Osorio is a dedicated, talented, and attentive architect. She recently designed our kitchen, dining room and family room remodel.
