Our neighbors used and recommended Stephanie. We were looking to build a screened in porch/outdoor living area on top of an existing deck. She understood exactly what we were looking for, and drew the plans accordingly. She also came up some great enhancements and features we had not thought of - which significantly improved the result Highly recommend - understood what we wanted, very timely communication and responsive. Very "user-friendly"

Stephanie is the best hands down. From beginning to end she is on the ball. She is very experienced in the field and has a ton of knowledge in state and local building code. Her designs we're perfect for my renovation project.You won't find anyone nicer or easier to work with.

We hired Stephanie in the spring of 2015 to design a portico for our Northern Westchester Farmhouse and guide us through the entire process from drawings to final CO. From the beginning she worked hard to understand our style and ideas. It was very important to us that the portico look like it had always been part of the structure, and she delivered. Our design incorporated benches on either side of the landing and she worked with the builder, making several site visits, to ensure they were done correctly. Stephanie is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. So much so in fact we're using her talents now to plan a full Kitchen remodel.

Stephanie has been our go-to to assist with our projects needing her architectural expertise. Working together to make sure that the interior details work seamlessly with the exterior transformations has resulted in several successful design-build projects. This is definitely the best possible outcome for the client. The latest project together started as simply kitchen and bath renovations, and grew to a major overhaul of all 4 floors, plus a garage addition, in this beautiful Bronxville home. The client couldn't be happier with the team and the process.

Of the 3 architects I reached out to on their websites, Stephanie was the only one to contact me back. And she contacted me the same day (via email)! She is a great communicator, always gets back to you in a timely fashion. She came to my house on 2 occasions, initially to talk about drawing the initial plans, and then to address one of my concerns at a later date. Stephanie delivers what she promises, she is honest, she is thorough, and I definitely recommend her services. I would use her services again in a heartbeat.

We engaged Stephanie Fox to design a first floor addition for our house. She was easy to talk to and listened carefully to our ideas. We weren't sure where we wanted to locate our new space, and she did preliminary drawings of several options. Stephanie guided us through our decisions and was responsive to our questions. Stephanie Fox was highly recommended by the general contractor I hired to renovate my kitchen, dining room and adjoining spaces, including an entry area. From the first time I reached out to Stephanie she was a pleasure to work with. She worked around my schedule, which is sometimes difficult and even let me communicate over text regarding appointments, which is also sometimes my preference. Stephanie did a very thorough job on the plans and and graciously took my feedback and turned around revised plans quickly (and pleasantly). Stephanie's communication was as good as her work as well. She always communicated a status, next steps and even sent the FedEx tracking when she shipped the plans. I will be working with Stephanie again and I highly recommend you hire her as well. We hired Stephanie to provide architectural drawings for our basement remodel. She was recommended by a contractor who noted that the scope of work we were planning on doing would require architectural drawings to get sign off from the city. We met with a couple of architects before hiring Stephanie; one thing that stood out with Stephanie on first meeting was her open mind and willingness to consider our thoughts for the layout. This was important to us, as we were pretty settled in our own minds on the layout we thought made most sense. Stephanie took measurements and drew up two initial layouts – the one we had come up with and the one she thought made better use of the space. Of course, we ended up changing our minds completely and going with Stephanie’s proposal which was clearly superior! Stephanie was incredibly easy to work with. Once we’d settled on the layout, there were a few progressive iterations of the design to overcome the practical limitations of the space. In addition, Stephanie was very familiar with our city’s restrictions and processes as it relates to architectural review and approval, which gave us confidence in the final set of plans. Throughout the process, Stephanie was incredibly professional and responsive; she patiently handled our concerns and questions (of which there were a fair few, as this was the first time we had gone through a planning process!). I wholeheartedly recommend Stephanie. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her; she made the planning process a pleasure and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again should the need arise.

I wanted a small roof built over my front porch, and was told by my roofer that I would need an architect. "Angie's List" got me started; I contacted three, and found Stephanie's profile and written responses most impressive; she turned out to be even more impressive in person, knowledgable & informative, attentive and empathic. Over the course of the next four months we exchanged information, suggestions, and advice by email, and developed a plan for a most efficient, aesthetic and satisfactory roof. On her final visit, she provided hard copies of beautifully-rendered drawings, as well as the necessary applications for building permits (I am a lawyer, and declined her offer to file these for me). She also offered continued advice, as needed, for the permit process and/or by the roofers. All in all, I couldn't have been more pleased with Stephanie Fox's services, and gladly recommend her without reservation.

Stephanie developed the plans for our gut kitchen remodel which included knocking down two walls. Stephanie is very professional with great bedside manners and provided the drawings in less than a week to our contractor so we could get started quickly. She worked well with our kitchen remodeler updating the drawings with changes as needed and even met with the town's building inspector to clarify issues. I plan to hire Stephanie again in the near future.
