Stone that begins in Michigan and ends in something permanent. We quarry, cut, and deliver natural stone veneer from Howard City, Michigan. Every blend in our collection is mined from Michigan geology and cut to order — specification-grade material, not pulled from generic stock. For the architect or builder working on homes that need to last, natural Michigan stone offers something no manufactured alternative can: color and character that run all the way through the piece. It does not age out of what it is. 27 designer-inspired blends — each named for a Michigan place, each drawn from a specific geological formation. We have been working with The Stone Mill for several years now and have always been completely satisfied with their quality, customer service and their ability to provide material in a reasonable timeframe. They have a broad range of stone products that can compliment any project and they also have the ability to create amazing custom pieces for a number of masonry applications. I believe The Stone Mill is a superior stone supplier and will most certainly be ordering more stone for years to come!

What a great company! Steve and Connie let us come out to their home and business to look at the stone we were interested in purchasing. They showed us the stone and gave us installation tips. If you're looking for real stone for a project, this is the place to go.

We met Steve last year through Belden Brick. He invited us to his facility to see the different varieties of stone for our fireplace project. Like others stated, Steve is friendly and we also enjoyed hearing about the history of the company, stone types and the different quarries. We went with the Great Lakes Ledgestone and love the look. We ran short on the project and Steve helped us out the same week to complete our project on time.

We met Steve and Connie while trying to decide on a stone and color for our new build. They graciously invited us to their farm to see their house and all the different varieties of stone. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the company and all the different quarries. We went with the Great Lakes Ashler and couldn’t the happier!
