Steve's Quality Painting LLC

We bought a 3 bedroom house that had not been updated in something like 30 years and suffered from poor maintenance from an elderly couple that both smoked. The kitchen areas were covered in years worth of a film of cooking grease, and walls and windows were covered in smoke residue. The former owners were also big DIYers and skipped common sense practices like installing shut-off valves on appliances and plumbing fixtures. The light fixtures were all broken and dirty and the kitchen counters were stained to the point of needing to be replaced. I cannot recommend Steve and his team enough! In about a month, the house was totally transformed in every room, including the walk out basement. In fact, people who saw the before pictures are amazed it’s the same house. It’s beautiful! Besides removing and replacing broken fixtures and washing, prepping and painting walls and ceilings, Steve’s team did extensive carpentry work to fix the moldings and millwork. His quote was reasonable and he notified me in advance of any variances due to unforeseen issues discovered along the way. I appreciated how he took the time to keep us informed and how proactive he was in making cost effective suggestions. He also took on the role of Project Manager and worked well with the floor vendor, electrician and plumber. It’s almost like a miracle what was accomplished in so little time.

Steve's Quality Painting did a great job on my Lake House. They painted the inside and the outside of the house. They made it look like a new house. Beautiful! Very nice people to work with.

Steve and his team did a thorough job powerwashing, sanding and staining our large deck areas. They were prompt and left the work site clean upon completion. The deck now looks amazing!

We hired Steve and his crew to complete a multitude of interior and exterior home improvement projects at our seriously dated and worn out lake house. They power washed a large concrete and wood deck and gazebo, ground/primed/repainted our wrought iron railings and soft washed our garage roof. On the interior they repainted our entire house, tore out and replaced drywall and trim in 2 bedrooms, removed old wallpaper in the kitchen and bathroom, white washed our brick fireplace and repainted exterior doors. Their workmanship was excellent, the prices very fair and they were very accommodating to our schedule. Often their work had to be coordinated with other contractors such as electrical and plumbing and Steve bent over backwards to get everything completed on schedule. We highly recommend his company and will definitely use him again in the future!

I had the outside of my home painted by Steve's Quality Painting ,with a solid color stain from Sherwin Williams. The outside of my home, had recently went through a process where many of the cedar boards were replaced. Steve's Painting recommended 2 coats of the color I had selected. At the completion of the job, the new boards and original boards matched perfectly. Their attention to detail made the white aluminum trim on my windows just pop! I had a new roof put on last year. It was all a perfect match.

Steve's crew executed flawlessly on a difficult store front project with varying paint colors and surfaces. They were also super friendly, courteous and conscientious about daily clean up of supplies and paint chips. Steve accommodated our schedule with work-arounds for our retail store hours.

Steve and his crew painted our old farmhouse. They did an excellent job. The house looks so much better. They clean up all their gear everyday. They're very aware of all work details and ask questions when they have them. Steve's a very good communicator. There is no one better in the area for painting, power washing and staining decks. My experience with Steve's Quality Painting LLC was first rate. From my experience they did everything on time, from the first visit to give an estimate, to working with me on when to start the project, to showing up every day they said they would to complete the job, to follow up on a continual basis to insure that I liked their work. Their task involved many facets of bringing key rooms of an older home a much needed facelift. I am very pleased with the result. I found them to be personable also, which was just an added plus.

The crew did a great job of patching the walls and taping off trim, etc . No missed spots in painting. Smooth walls and great clean up after finishing.

We had a big project to repaint almost our entire house and remove an impossible amount of 80s themed wallpaper, which then also turned into a partial wall retexturing job. Throughout it all, Steve kept a high level of communication, coordinated with our other contractors on the plumbing and tile work we needed to have going on in the background, and got the job done beautifully. We wanted a few rooms painted in the upper and lower levels of our house.. sent an email to Steve’s to get a quote, we received a phone call the same day and he came out for the quote the next day...to our surprise the job could be started and finished the next week...his crew were super nice and very professional and they did a great job, I would definitely use them again and would surely recommend them..great job guys

We were very pleased with the promptness of his estimate, as well as his work.We had some dry wall repairs that needed to be taken care of prior to painting and they did a great job repairing the cracks. The actual painting project was completely finished and their work was spot on. I would definitely recommend Steve’s Quality Painting and utilize them for future projects at our home.

I would not recommend them to do any work. If you do make sure you get the final bill before you have them fix things they missed. I was given a quote that I accepted and when the job was finished I was asked how it looked. I pointed out the areas they missed and as the owner was looking at it he said that he made a mistake on the quote and was way off. He raised the final price by $1200 and gave me a "$300 discount". They didn't even do everything that was in the quote. Not the way you should ever do business!

Steve was very professional and got the job done, and done well, within my schedule. I added a couple of other painting tasks to my original list, and Steve completed them as well in a timely manner. I will use again if needed.
