The Stirling Group is top notch when it comes to remodeling a home. Their team is well versed and pay attention to the smallest of details. We’ve had the pleasure to photograph their projects and they are easy to communicate with through the whole process. I would recommend this team to anyone looking to do some remodeling of their home. They will listen to your needs and come up with a solution that is absolutely beautiful and fully functioning for you and your family.

Working with Stirling Group for many years and many projects now, we find that their relationships with homeowners, their expertise and perspective, and their excellence in craftsmanship separate them from their competitors. Matt and Jack are truly exceptional and as an architect, it is a great privilege to know that our clients are well cared for and the work is beautifully executed. First – we find them to be thorough, transparent, honest, and kind in working with homeowners. Construction is incredibly complicated – wrought with difficult decisions, unforeseen conditions, surprises in the weather, materials that are out of stock… Throughout all of this we find that Matt and Jack consistently look out for and advocate in the homeowner’s best interest. It’s not surprising then, that they are often quite good friends with the homeowners at the end of the projects – until you remember how rare that is in their profession. Next – their collective expertise allows them a valuable big-picture perspective on projects. This is most notable in renovations, where so much of the scope of work is hidden until it is uncovered (‘discovered’). Matt and Jack work out sophisticated approaches to complex projects with a fraction of the time and ‘discovery’ (read: demolition) that is often required – simply because they have so much experience and such a broad base of knowledge. Last – but equally important – is the standard of excellence in their work. These guys quite simply LOVE what they do and they are very, very good. Time and again, homeowners are amazed with the fine level of craftsmanship in Stirling Group’s work – and we are, too. Their work is simply stunning. We feel so fortunate to team up with Stirling Group time and time again… and hope for many more years and many more projects to come.

We are currently going through a huge renovation of our 1928 bungalow. Matt Ferguson and Jack Hansen have been a dream to work with. Their knowledge of older homes and experience is second to none. They have been wonderful in helping us make educated decisions in our renovation process. I would recommend them to anyone.

Stirling group did an amazing job on our craftsman bungalow renovation. We added a second story and moved the kitchen and Stirling insisted on perfection through every step. They utilized salvaged doors, hardware and floors in addition to exacting matching all of our old trim. No other contractors insist on this high of a level of workmanship.
