Judy Hynes My Husband and I enjoyed working with Justin and Tyler of Stonnington Cabinetry and Design. We appreciated their attention to detail, knowledge of the industry, respect for our home and professional workmanship. We had some ideas for our new kitchen, specific textures we wanted to use and Stonnington pulled it all together with great suggestions. Justin and Tyler were listening carefully at our first meeting when we described what we liked and disliked along with our budget. I hired Stonington for a kitchen renovation and could not have been more pleased with them and their work. I used Stonington to do a new kitchen as well as design and build a fireplace mantle with flanking bookshelves and they did a tremendous job. Stonington Cabinetry was an absolute pleasure to work with. They provided beautiful, hand drawn designs for my kitchen, mud room, bar area and wine room. While building a house at the Jersey Shore I happened to walk past Stonington Cabinetry and Designs one day and saw that their store display was exactly what I was looking for. I met with Bob and Karen and decided to go with them due to Bob's construction expertise and Karen's great design ideas. Plus, the cabinets are gorgeous and very competitively priced. When our builder got slowed down due to Sandy, Bob offered to do the install along with their son Tyler so that my builder could focus on finishing other areas of the house. Bob and Tyler spent a week away from home installing our kitchen. Not only did I think they did an amazing job - my builder felt the same way and has been referring Stonington to his customers ever since. After our kitchen exceeded our expectations, I have since hired Stonington to do two other projects and can't wait for them to be finished.

We love all the additions they have added to our home! They have great taste and great vision, it is like having a contractor and architect all in one!

Hired company for my kitchen and bathroom renovation. The project could not have been better designed, run and completed. Their staff is professional, on time, attentive and thorough. Everyone associated with the project was extremely respectful and diligent and I greatly appreciated the coordination it took to complete the project on time. More importantly the workmanship is excellent. Everyone from the principals to the workers are knowledgeable and take pride in their work product. A pleasure to work with such a crew!

I hired Bob Sachs of Stonington Designs to transform a coat closet into a powder room on the first floor of my home. I still needed to have a place for coats so I needed his advice and his opinion. Bob came up with a fabulous design! Because my new powder room needed to be bigger (by code) than the coat closet, Bob needed to 'steal' some space from my foyer which was not large to begin with. He suggested making one of the corners rounded so that the space did not look cramped. I trusted Bob as I had seen many of the projects that he had completed prior to hiring him for this job. The powder room came out better than I could ever have imagined! And... Bob was able to install curved crown molding which matched the existing molding -- so that the powder room looked like it was part of the original house! In addition, Bob suggested built-ins for my adjacent office -- this would solve the 'no coat closet crisis.' Bob's design was to build custom cabinetry across the back wall of the office which would enable me to have shelving and file cabinet drawers plus a coat closet -- problem solved! AND it looks FABULOUS! Thanks, Bob -- for being able to solve several problems with your creativity and for enabling me to have the practical along side the aesthetically pleasing in my 1950's home!
