Sunrise Building & Remodeling was way beyond professional in performing the corrective work required in this fairly complicated jacking and reframing project involving a 2 story open porch with a finished attic above. Communication and coordination was great and they completed the project to the great satisfaction of the owners.

This was the second time we used Eric and the team at Sunrise Building and were just as happy as the first time! The crew was great - kept the site clean and respected our space and stuff. This was critical as we lived in the home during the project. I'm not an easy customer and Sunrise would vouch for that. As particular as I am, that's how particular the guys at Sunrise were in addressing my project. We needed to have a small guest bathroom remodeled and a shower in the master bathroom repaired in addition to solving a long standing mysterious slow leak in another bathroom which had started to show some damage to the ceiling below the bathroom. Clearly this was not Sunrise's biggest project. The work was performed on time, in budget and not for a moment did we feel that this was being seen as a small project. Eric, George, Steve and Greg always operated in a totally professional manner and never discounted any of our concerns. I highly recommend Sunrise. These guys are top shelf.

Sunrise building and remodeling was a great find on Houzz. They created the most spectacular and luxurious screened in porch area that features wood paneling throughout and a gorgeous stained cedar ceiling. The workmen were artisans and paid remarkable attention to detail. We love our home even more with this new addition. If we ever choose to remodel our home again in any way, we would speed dial Sunrise builders. They’re efficient, respectful, professional and have the most incredible woodworkers.

There were many surprises as we opened up walls and floors. Fortunately Sunrise's on-site supervisor was up to the task. We love our beautiful home. Our experience with Sunrise was outstanding. We had a cold, outdated kitchen in an older home. It was important to us to keep the essence of the house but gain the modern conveniences found in an updated kitchen. Sunrise makes decisions easier by clearly itemizing all costs and options. They are seasoned professionals. The project manager is there throughout and is accessible at all times. As issues arise they give you all the information you need to make a decision. They are super organized and keep things clean and clutter free. It was clear throughout that Sunrise cared about the outcome. The crew onsite was awesome. In the end, Eric Messer and his team demonstrated they have the expertise and know-how to complete a complicated job. We love our new kitchen!

I recently purchased a Coop apartment in a dense-packed neighborhood. Sunrise was one of three construction companies I interviewed, along with my Architect. I selected them because they presented well, were knowledgeable, and honest about the issues. Although Sunrise was not the least expensive company I interviewed, they were absolutely the right choice! The renovation was extensive, involving a significant demolition, the moving of several walls, and the re-creation of two bathrooms and a complex kitchen. During the 4-month renovation period, I lived on the West Coast and visited only twice: for a 2-hour construction meeting, each time. Sunrise was fabulous! They exceeded the strict cleanliness regulations of the Coop, providing excellent communication through their in-house Project Manager, with thorough Lead-Time Sheets that made supplier-ordering easy. As with any renovation project, there were several "one-off" problems that needed solutions. Both the folks at Sunrise and their sub-contractors were committed to finding effective solutions, even if it took several tries! All told, the project was very successful and I will definitely use them again, for future work.

Sunrise Building spent much of the last year at our house engaged in a large remodeling project tied into adding on an office to the area of our family room. We updated 3 bathrooms, restructured our kitchen - new counters, cabinetry, open island (it's beautiful !!) and created a new floor in our family room which flowed into the new office. The crew was always professional, always a pleasure to have around. People took initiative about their tasks. Gregg Martinez was the project manager; Steve Massoni was our on site day to day person. Each one was courteous and responsive. To the degree that you can have your house taken over for months on end, it was a totally positive experience. We came to Sunrise through 2 friends, the Sattlers and the Ferenczes, who had previously used them for house work. I would happily recommend them to anyone. Their subs - electricians, plumbers, tilemen, painters - were proud professionals who wanted to do their best work.
