Bjorck Design

Björck Design was founded in 2002 by Susanne Burns an interior designer specializing in Kitchen and Bath remodeling. Growing up in Sweden I learned to appreciate the simple clean lines of modern and contemporary design mixed with the warmth of the Scandinavian style. This style is a great fit for the Northwest lifestyle. I consider myself a functional designer. A space needs to serve a purpose. Both kitchens and baths are areas in your home that requires equal amount of detail put into the form as well as function. I spent 14 years of my career working for one of the largest residential remodeling companies in Washington. I worked my way up to senior designer overseeing a staff of 12 senior and junior designers. In 2019 I decided to reopen Björck Design and embark on my next chapter as an independent designer. I have partnered with contractors to offer clients the most inclusive remodeling experience. As a senior designer I have designed and executed over 600 projects. “My favorite part about being an interior designer is helping my clients achieve their dreams. I see myself as your guide through the entire design process. My job is to make your experience as enjoyable and stress free as possible. I understand that colors and designs and envisioning your new space can be difficult at times. Explaining what you like or don’t like with words can be even harder. My job is to interpret your reactions and translate that into a space that will fit you and your family’s needs.
